“Great hotel, great location”
Little gem of a hotel, rooms are amazing, good WiFi, great location, 5 minute walk to the beach, to the restaurants & bars. Only disappointing thing was when we went down for breakfast there was nothing left.

“Excellent customer service and fantastic location”
I arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night due to a late flight and my other hotel reservation falling through. The night receptionist Andrada was so wonderful and kind - she helped me with a room and made sure I got in it for a restful sleep. I can’t thank her enough! in a stressful situation like that, this kind of customer service makes all the difference in the world. The breakfast was really good, very fresh and included lots of fresh products, so you could have a great and fulfilling start to your day. Also I would like to thank the day reception for the possibility of a late checkout, as my flight left late at night. I felt so safe, so well taken care of and would definitely stay here again for the amazing customer service! Also the location is perfect - right near the beach and old town, supermarkets around the corner with excellent connections for any daytrips. So a high recommendation from me 😊

“Amazing location”
This hotel has the best location near Playa Postiguet. Recently refurbished and hotel is clean, minimalist and beds are very comfortable. Efficient service from front desk and there to answer any questions you may have. There is a rooftop bar and pool, quite small but didn’t use it during our stay. Breakfast offering gets very repetitive however sufficient for what you need. A special mention to Alison in breakfast who was friendly, helpful, welcome and you felt always looked after. Sadly the lady who works on Alison’s off days, is very slow, breakfast items do not get replenished and had no urgency to provide service. Lastly one area that was very frustrating is the shower. The shower tray has not been built correctly as you have so much water that runs onto the bathroom floor, you literally use all the bath towels to block water from shower tray.

“Great apartments in a great location”
Great experience at Odyssey rooms. Stored luggage , no problem, early check in, no problem . We booked a 2 bedroom apartment through a travel agent and were extremely impressed with the standard of the property. Clean, well appointed apartments in a great location 1 street back from the marina. Beds were comfortable with both hard and soft pillows available and the shower was an experience in itself. The best part was the staff who were extremely friendly and helpful giving advice on what to do in Alicante complete with maps and directions. They were even on hand very late at night to check our friends in whose flight had been delayed. Top class service.

“Disappointing hotel”
We stayed at the Odyssey Hotel in Alicante and, unfortunately, we would not stay here again. While the rooms are reasonably pleasant, there is a big difference between the facilities advertised and what is actually available to guests. We booked a double room but were given two single beds which, we were told, could not be made into a double. The beds constantly moved apart during the night, making it very uncomfortable for a couple. The air conditioning is also a problem. Although there is air conditioning and a fan, they are controlled by a timer that guests cannot adjust. They switch off during the night, leaving the room extremely hot. We reported this, but nothing was done. The pool is really a small plunge pool and, during our stay, has appeared poorly maintained, with sand, grit and debris in the water. There are loungers and umbrellas, but the umbrellas are not put up, even when temperatures reach 36–38°C, meaning there is effectively no shade. There is a bar beside the pool, but it is not operated during the daytime. You can sit beside it all day, but you cannot actually get a drink. Evenings have very limited and inconsistent opening hours. For a hotel advertising a pool and bar, this is extremely disappointing. Parking is available, but it is exceptionally tight. The entrance, ramps and parking spaces are difficult to navigate, with very little room to manoeuvre. You need to be extremely careful to avoid scraping or damaging your car. Breakfast is fine and most staff are friendly, although we did encounter one particularly unhelpful member of the evening bar staff. Overall, the issue is that the hotel advertises facilities that are either restricted, unavailable or poorly maintained. It feels more like a glorified motel than a proper hotel. We would not return.
