Playa Del Duque Beach in Tenerife

You can see why this picture-perfect beach is one of the most popular in Costa Adeje. Surrounded by palm trees, its soft, golden sand slopes gently to the sea and feels great between your toes as you stroll along the shoreline. The water here is crystal clear, which entices you in for a splash or swim.

It's ideal for children as it's calm and shallow. With a touch of sophistication in its atmosphere, it's a wonderful place to simply lie back under one of the bamboo parasols and listen to the waves. It deserves the Blue Flag status for its cleanliness and excellent facilities, including showers and changing areas.

Families will be happy to know there's a good choice of ice cream kiosks along the beachfront. When hunger strikes you have plenty of cafés and restaurants to choose from on the delightful beach promenade that runs the full length of the sand.
