Santa Eulalia Nightlife: Bars & Clubs
More laid-back than its club-centric counterparts, Santa Eulalia is definitely a favourite with both families and couples. With a gently-shelving beach, it’s ideal for those holidaying with little ones, and the staggering array of waterfront restaurants gives loved-up couples the chance to indulge in a different cuisine, every night of the week.
Despite its quiet reputation, there’s plenty on offer for those looking for a taste of the Santa Eulalia Ibiza nightlife. While you won’t find the superclubs and boozy crowds that you get in San Antonio, Ibiza Town, and Cala d’en Bossa, you will find some excellent venues in which to add an extra party boost to your holidays in Ibiza.
Santa Eulalia’s hottest nightspot
The best place to go for a true taste of Santa Eulalia nightlife is the Guarana nightclub. This is one of the few venues that attracts both the locals and holidaymakers, and is open virtually all year round. You’ll find it in Santa Eulalia’s main marina and away from the buzzing crowds.
From the outside, it looks relatively small, appearing to be little more than a bar with an outdoor terrace. However, go inside and you’ll find a spacious bar and an even bigger dance floor, complete with a DJ booth, from which world-class mix-masters crank out the best in dance, disco and pop music. This is a spot for those in the know, and now you’re one, too! Guarana serves those who want to keep it local, as well as those who want a pre-gig warm-up, before heading off on the infamous Disco Bus to the livelier resorts.
On the waterfront
Santa Eulalia’s waterfront is something of a goldmine when it comes to finding the best in Santa Eulalia’s nightlife. If you’re looking for a great venue in which to enjoy cool cocktails, laid-back music, and the chance to soak up one of Ibiza’s spectacular sunsets, you can’t go far wrong with Liquido. Offering excellent views across the marina, Liquido specialises in handcrafted cocktails that are a bit too easy to drink! Music tends towards the Northern Soul vibe and is on the right side of laid back. Liquido is Santa Eulalia’s main nightspot and is open until the small hours.
Party in style
If you’re feeling like a stylish night out, the Air Ibiza bar and club is well worth a visit. Part of the Aguas de Ibiza hotel, Air Ibiza offers a sophisticated take on Santa Eulalia’s nightlife. The hotel is a dedicated, eco-friendly hotel, offering Michelin-starred dining and superb views over the Mediterranean. The Air Ibiza club follows in its fashionable footsteps, offering outstanding cocktails and ambient music. This is the place where people go to be seen on the scene, so dress to impress.
Good food and live music
Santa Eulalia nightlife doesn’t have to be about neon lighting and contemporary club tunes. If you’d prefer your evening out to take in a touch of traditional Ibiza, look out for the Mariners Bar. During the day and into the early evening, this operates as a restaurant, serving fresh fish and meat dishes, from virtually every corner of the globe. However, once the dining’s done, the Mariners Bar offers a superb selection of local musicians, some of whom have gone onto become stars on the Ibizan music scene.
Expect dramatic flamenco and the mournful lilt of traditional, Spanish guitar. Whether you’re out for a meal or want to party in style, until the early hours, the Mariners Bar is a great venue.
Although there’s no competing with the big guns, such as San Antonio and Ibiza Town, Santa Eulalia’s nightlife is perfect for families and couples. You won’t find clubs banging out tunes until dawn, but the nightlife in Santa Eulalia, Ibiza is for those who want their holidays to consist of more than just hangovers.
