Vilamar is situated in a calm residential area by the sea and is ideal for relaxing, enjoying the peace and the nature of the location, and sunbathing by our pool and in our lovely gardens.
Vilamar can accommodate singles, couples, and families. With two swimming pools (adults and children), a huge garden, a multi-sports court, a pool bar, and a dining room, Vilamar offers enough entertainment, activities, and meal options for all ages. Food events will take place twice a week combined once a week with live music during the high season.
We serve several different types of meals in our dining room, outside the esplanade by the pool, or directly at the pool. Guests will always find something they like whether it is breakfast, lunch, dinner, or just a small snack in the middle of the afternoon.
Imagine yourself enjoying a cocktail or a smoothie by the pool, watching a sports event at our pool bar, or enjoying a relaxing massage in our garden by the pool.
Vilamar is also the perfect starting point for a road trip being precisely in the middle of the big urban centers and the wild and natural areas.
Vilamar is located in Praia da Luz in the surroundings of Lagos just 2 minutes away from the center and the beach; 10 minutes away from the center of Lagos; and 20 to 30 minutes away from places like Portimão (the biggest city in the Algarve), Sagres (the southwest end of Europe), the West Coast (famous for the wild beaches and big waves for surfing), Silves (the former Moorish capital) and Monchique (where nature and culture come together).
Algarve has always something for everyone and so has Vilamar!
Facilities and services include a dining room/snack bar, pool bar, outdoor pool, childrens pool, wireless Internet in public areas, and parking.
