“wonderful.”

Every year I write about this hotel but every year brings a good experience. From booking in to checking the staff could not be more welcoming or helpful. The location is perfect as it is so near the old town, restaurants and next to the marina. They provide a bus to the beach, there are lots of amenities in the hotel, indoor pool, hairdressers, restaurants etc. The rooms are spacious, immaculate and really comfortable beds. The shower room is also immaculate and there is a shower soap pump along with hand soap and body lotion. This hotel is well worth a visit.

“Amazing views, perfect location”

Amazing marina and nature reserve views from the 5th floor breakfast room. It was such a lovely experience to eat whilst gazing out over the Ria Formosa with a pianist playing in the background. Breakfasts were varied and plentiful - loved the glasses of mimosa which were included. One morning we were given a fresh flower each on arriving for breakfast. Rooms are clean and comfortable. I had a city view room but did not experience any street noise. Location perfect for the old town, shops, restaurants, buses, trains and boat trips Reception staff helpful and friendly even when very busy. The free boat trip to the beach was appreciated and very much enjoyed.

“Nice hotel but not blown away by rooms.”

Reception staff not very helpful at check in felt like they couldn't be bothered. Had a Marina view room. Room was nice, but very small, as was the bathroom. Breakfast was lovely, plenty choice. Had a cocktail every night at the bar where the staff here were so nice. Rooftop not open but we booked through a third party who didn't tell us this so it was not a fault of the hotel. Probably won't return as been there done that now.

“Great location”

Great location for seeing Faro and exploring the Ria Formosa. I’m very good at research but somehow missed the outdoor pool was closed - disappointing , but not the end of the world. We took the free hotel speedboat (book in advance) to the beach, that worked perfectly. Good rooms, mini bar (very reasonable) comfortable bed, good shower. Plenty of choice at breakfast, accompanied by a live pianist! Didn’t eat at the hotel or use any facilities apart from bars - again very reasonable. Staff were friendly and helpful. We didn’t find the marina view rooms noisy at all, we loved sitting on the balcony and taking in the incredible views of city and Ria Formosa. Great stay, and would recommend.

“Simply the best”

We have just flown back from a holiday staying at this hotel. The staff of the hotel made our holiday with their friendly, approachable way and we would like to thank the lady who cleaned our room (417), the bar staff, reception and the breakfast staff who were all very pleasant and helpful. Another nice touch was flowers that were given out some mornings, mine went into a bottle of water in the bedroom and made me smile each morning when I looked at them. A huge thank you to the Pianist who we listened to in a morning and who kept us entertained in the evening where we tried to guess the tune he played. We really appreciated this lovely touch and he, and his son, were a joy to listen to, please pass on our kind regards to them, he will remember I am sure. In addition we enjoyed the food at the hotel and even brought back a bottle of local wine to console ourselves with as winter fast approaches in the UK. Not sure when but we would definitely stay at this hotel again. It is spotlessly clean, very conveniently placed on the Marina and has a lovely vibe (even when very busy). Cannot fault the hotel at all and we have travelled quite a bit.
