Hotel Harmony by Aycon
Hotel Harmony is incredibly located – in the center of one of the most vibrant cities on the Montenegrin coast, while at the same time in a quiet area in the heart of Petrovac. Hotel Harmony will give you a sense of proximity to each event and at the same time the opportunity to enjoy exceptional peace. The interior of the hotel is designed for an unforgettable, soothing vacation. Rooms are elegant in their simplicity, while at the same time winning hearts with modern and functional design, each with a balcony overlooking the city or the pool. Good sleep is an imperative for a successful holiday, so comfortable beds have been installed here which, combined with a peaceful environment, allow you to really recharge your energy.
The accommodation takes place in superior rooms (24 m2) and apartments (35-42 m2). The smart rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a mini bar, safe, kettle, LCD cable TV and Wi-Fi. Modern bathrooms are equipped with showers, contemporary mirrors, towels, hairdryers and slippers.
The hotel's intimate restaurant serves international cuisine and a rich buffet breakfast with dishes to satisfy everybody's taste.
Guests can use an outdoor pool and a sun terrace where they can relax enjoying in the favorite drink. An outdoor pool is available to guests from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The pool is equipped with towels, sun loungers and parasols.
Each accommodation unit, as well as the restaurant and swimming pool are covered by free WI-FI internet.

“Nice hotel but won’t be going back.”

The hotel is clean and well set back from the main road. The room we had was right next to the desk and although we were upgraded to a suite, it had no view. The bedroom view was onto the storage area for the staff. So the curtains remained closed for the duration of our stay. Breakfast was good with a decent choice but evening meals were bland. Only two choices for each course. I’d go bed and breakfast over half board. The hotel owner is surly and miserable. His family and their friends commandeered four of the 12 sunbeds and one of the tables for four every day. This isn’t very professional in my opinion. Two days out of the seven we were there we couldn’t get sunbeds. The pool area is spotlessly clean and the lady who cleans it is lovely. Quiet location with parking which was tight to say the least. The main highlight to this hotel is the two lovely young men who work long hours every day and can’t do enough for the paying guests. The lady on reception is also very helpful and pleasant. Petrovac beaches are very crowded and although pretty this is spoiled by the sun bed people trying (and failing) to rip tourists off. We were told 40 euros which when we told him no way he said how about 20 euros. We declined! Overall, Petrovac is nice, clean and feels safe, we wouldn’t go back. Tivat airport was chaotic and packed. The infostructure can’t cope with the amount of tourists. Also we were told by our lovely taxi driver to always agree a price when using taxis before you get in one. They make up their own numbers.

“Poor costumer care”

We stayed at Hotel Harmony by Aycon recently, and while the location and day-to-day staff were pleasant, our experience was ruined by an aircon defect, resulting in non-existent sleep quality, and dishonest management after check-out. Our room was located right next to reception and was extremely noisy. When we brought this up, we were told it was because we booked the "best available rate"—something never disclosed beforehand. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit had a defect that made a distinct noise every 1–2 minutes all night. A staff member came up to our room at 9:30 PM, verified the issue, and acknowledged the fault. He said there was nothing he could do about it. The main bed was comfortable, but the sofa bed mattress was mediocre. When we requested a discount at checkout for the lost sleep, the manager refused. After we followed up by email, management’s response was to lie and deflect: they claimed the staff member who visited our room at 9:30 PM was "part of the pool maintenance team" and that management was "unaware" of the issue. This same staff member checked us in, handed us our keys, processed our payment at reception, and phoned management on our behalf at checkout. Deflecting accountability with absurd excuses rather than fixing a verified defect shows a total lack of respect for guests. Breakfast was good and varied, and general food is basic but fairly priced. A tip for families: there is no children’s menu, so it’s best to order one standard portion for kids to share. The location is great with beaches within walking distance, and while the pool is very small, it's fine for a quick dip. However, four pool sunbeds were permanently reserved for "friends of the hotel," leaving very few for other paying guests. Parking is also a bit of a faff as you must ask reception to open the gates every time you come or go. Overall, frontline staff are friendly, but management’s dishonesty and failure to address clear room defects mean we cannot recommend staying here.

“Smoke, mold, chaos - avoid at all costs”

The room was small with a lingering cigarette smell despite being advertised as non-smoking. Mold was found on the aircon unit, and although it was cleaned, the odor remained. Need to iron your clothes? Good luck. There is no iron in the room, and the ironing service is a confusing ordeal. We asked 72 hours in advance and were given a series of conflicting answers too busy, bring it in the morning, maybe later but in the end, no resolution. Even simple policies seem impossible to follow. Breakfast was underwhelming, with limited options for vegetarians, stale items, and hygiene issues. The pool area is small and unsafe; a manhole cover was left open, which could have been dangerous for children. Early check-in was the only positive, but overall the bathrooms smelled damp, rooms carried a persistent smoke odor, and staff seemed disorganised and unaccountable. This hotel has serious operational issues, and I would not recommend it.

“Lovely hotel ”

This is a lovely, smallish hotel, set on a quiet road, a 5 minute stroll to the beach etc in Petrovac. The room was serviced efficiently every day. The buffet breakfast provided a large choice, changing every morning. The staff were excellent, especially the young lady on reception, who was friendly and helpful and the waiter who was always ready to serve us drinks at the pool ( remembering our order from day to day!) The smallish pool was rarely crowded and we always managed to get sunloungers on our regular pool mornings. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars relates to the owners plus their friends and family. They tended to be surly and non communicative , which was awkward as they lived at the top of the building. A couple of days they even instructed the staff to reserve 4 of the 12 sunloungers, even though guests were instructed not to!! However, this apart, Harmony is a lovely, beautifully maintained hotel and it certainly gets our recommendation.

“A great place to stay!”

I can highly recommend this hotel. It's small and friendly, all the staff from receptionist to cleaner smile and speak to their guests...they are justifiably proud of their hotel. It's positioned in a small back street about 500 metres from sea front and extremely clean and comfortable. The rooms are well furnished and spacious with very comfy beds. Fresh towels every day and fresh bed linen every other day. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the choice and quality of food available for breakfast was good...try the apple and pumpkin pies 😘! The pool is very small, but great for cooling off and like the rest of the hotel, exceptionally clean. This is a lovely place to stay and we will be returning.
