“A lovely and relaxing experience in Malta”

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at The Londoner Hotel in Malta. The room was fantastic, clean, and comfortable, as were all the common areas of the hotel, providing the relaxing vacation I was looking for. Regarding the breakfast, although there wasn't a huge variety, everything served was delicious, and the staff constantly refilled and refreshed the food. Also, the pool area—although located in a separate building just a few meters down the street—was a wonderful experience and perfect for relaxing. I would especially like to thank Ms. Clara at the reception. She helped me and showed incredible patience and kindness, even though my English wasn't very good. She explained everything clearly regarding the location of the parking area, which was extremely helpful! A huge thank you to Ms. Clara and the entire team. I will certainly recommend the hotel to my friends and acquaintances!

“Gave a key card to another guest to enter our room, terrible view”

Let another guest have access to our room whilst we was about to sleep and in bed, noisy rooms,given wrong room with a view like a bomb site even though we paid for a city view room , tv didn’t work. Really disappointed as we stayed here 2 years ago completely different experience the biggest upset was giving a key card to our room and they barely could apologise. Real waste of money… :( was so good the time before tried to be a returning guest but didn’t work out… huge security risk but can’t be compensated properly apparently.

“Central location in the heart of partyville - Paceville/St. Julians - Worked Well !!!”

Nice and comfortable hotel in the heart of the action - double pain windows so we were fine but.... it is party central....lots of great restaurants and bars in the area and we were across from the Mercury Tower and the mall. Clean and well commissioned and we had breakfast included - 10euro. Good food - practical - not fancy - toast eggs bacon cereal yogurt baked goods and juices etc. Young clientele - that was fine. Lots of people so ot of garbage etc. Confirm breakfast included - there was some confusion on the last day and ask for a Mercury Tower - main street view - the back is construction..... and there is lots of construction in the area.

“5*, Highly recommend, Would return!”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars from Me! Highly Recommend Location The location simply can't be beaten. It's just off the strip, opposite Mercury Tower, and surrounded by restaurants and bars. Some people might find it a little noisy, but for us it was perfect. The noise was only at a low level and generally stopped around 3am, which is much better than other party destinations I've visited. As St Julian's has more of a city atmosphere than a traditional beach holiday vibe, the noise wasn't nearly as bad as I expected. It's also in a great location for public transport, with a bus stop nearby and both St George's Bay and St Julian's Bay within a 5 to 10 minute walk. We were kindly upgraded to a room on the 9th floor overlooking Mercury Tower, and the view was incredible. It genuinely felt like the sort of view you'd get from a London penthouse apartment. Room Our room was serviced every day and, as I had emailed the hotel in advance to let them know we were celebrating our anniversary, we arrived to find rose petals on the bed, which was a lovely touch. The room was clean, modern and exactly what we needed. The hotel has more of a city hotel feel, which we really liked. You enter using your key and can keep to yourself if you wish, which made for a refreshing change from some larger resorts. Value, Breakfast & Pool I felt we paid a very reasonable price for what we received. The breakfast selection is fairly small, but that's to be expected as the hotel itself isn't very large and therefore doesn't have huge numbers of guests. The pool is located a few doors down on the rooftop of another building. It has a beach club atmosphere, and because guests can pay for sunbeds, you're unable to bring your own food and drinks in. This didn't bother us as we only tended to spend a few hours there at a time and would buy a drink or two. The food was really good, and while drinks were slightly more expensive, food prices were in line with the area. It's actually quite uncommon to find a hotel with a pool in this part of Malta, so we were grateful to have access to one. Staff The reception staff were lovely and incredibly helpful throughout our stay. One member of staff even helped us open a bottle of wine at midnight with a corkscrew! The lady who checked us in and out was also exceptionally kind and welcoming. We were also able to borrow beach towels free of charge, which was very useful. A Few Minor Improvements We had an amazing stay and would absolutely return, but I do have a couple of small suggestions that the hotel may find helpful. The toilet paper was quite thin, meaning we got through it fairly quickly. Sometimes extra rolls were left by housekeeping, but not always, so my boyfriend had to make a few trips to reception to collect more. Secondly, while I appreciate the hotel's sustainability approach and the idea of not replacing items unnecessarily, a few of the bathroom towels were beginning to show their age and had small rips or holes in them. These certainly weren't deal-breakers and didn't impact our overall experience, but they're worth noting as areas for improvement. Overall We had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to return. The location, views, helpful staff and great value made this a wonderful base for exploring Malta. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Malta. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
