Elalpaca Trekking at Monte Baldo

For those who love animals and doing something fun that is slightly out of the ordinary, Elalpaca trekking is perfect. How do you like the sound of taking an alpaca for a walk on the top of a mountain? This is an activity everyone can take part in; you only need suitable footwear and a jacket, as temperatures on the top of the mountain can be cooler.

To get to where the elalpacas are you need to take the cable car up to the top of Monte Baldo. This in itself is wonderful as you can enjoy amazing panoramic lake views on the journey. Elalpaca treks take 45 minutes to over an hour and the cost won't break the bank.

A guide will lead you to some stunning viewpoints and allow time for photos. Be prepared to fall in love with these animals, as they're incredibly cute. Their soft wool is used to make gloves, scarves, hats and socks. Don't forget to visit the shop at the end of your walk and purchase some elalpaca souvenirs.
