Management attitude terrible if you have a complaint. Not interested in resolving our issue and contradicted themselves serval time . We eventually gave up due to attitude we were experiencing. If we had not paid fully in advance , we would have checked out

“The only place to stay in Nusa Dua”
The grand old hotel of Nusa Dua. Although it is quite old, it is aging very well. It has a very mature feel to it but in a very elegant way. It invites you to slow down and relax a little away from the hustle bustle of the rest of Bali. Everything is there, but the Bali Collection shopping mall is walking distance for some retail therapy or a cheaper massage. There is a mall shuttle bus that is door to door or a hotel shuttle that will take you to the front gate. The all inclusive package is well worth it and what isnt included doesn’t really matter. There is plenty to choose from.

“Almost perfect”
The Grand Hyatt is a stunning resort. The gardens are unmatched! Staff so friendly. The breakfast amazing!! As a vegan/vegetarian there were heaps of options for us. We went as a family of four (2 kids aged 7 and 9) and were in the west wing. This was a downfall for us. To walk anywhere in the resort took 8 - 10’minutes of walking. The grounds are so massive, and although beautiful, really inconvenient if you forget something in the room. We opted to use the Balinese pool more than the main pool because it was quieter and less crowded. The water was also a refreshing temperature. The main pool was so hot it felt like swimming in soup. We really didn’t like it. The bad thing about the Balinese pool though was no good service and no toilets nearby! Kinda crazy. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay. We hired bikes to ride along the beach walkways. We enjoyed eating out at Bali Collection restaurants as we didn’t do the all inclusive package. I’m not sure if I’d recommend the hotel to others. It was amazing. Just the walking distance everywhere was too much. Maybe request a room near the pool/lobby/cafes for a better experience.

“Basic”
Just got back from a week at the grand Hyatt, if you’re used to staying at good hotels you’ll be disappointed, old rooms, no smart tvs so can’t stream unless you take something to cast from your phone or laptop. The staff are terrible, room service is incredibly slow with very limited options, at one of the on site restaurants they had 2 tables so dead and couldn’t bring food to our room and you can’t order from there on room service. My biggest issue with the hotel is the poor food options and quality of the cooking, from the dryest chicken that was inedible to the eggs that were either over cooked or not cooked at all, the kids food just tasted of oil and the fruit had no taste to it. Staff weren’t attentive and didn’t care when you raised issues. Hotel ground were pretty but needs a refurb to be a 5 star hotel, staff and chefs need lots of training! If you’re used to average you’ll probably enjoy it. Never again!
