Prior to our arrival, I emailed the front desk manager, Evgenia, to arrange a taxi from the airport. Both the driver, Nicholas, and the bellboy, Niko, were exceptionally nice and professional. When first arriving, the hotel can be deceiving. The hotel’s entry section and revolving door don’t scream 5 stars. But the lobby quickly rectifies such deception. A well-lit and spacious lobby decorated tastefully. Designer ceramic flooring, exotic lights, luxurious couches, masterfully placed fountain, all-white cocktail bar, and white wing piano--all complemented by natural light beaming through the wide glass doors leading to an exquisite wooden deck overseeing the Aegean. Astonishing view. We were greeted with a cold cocktail glass, soon followed by a quick hotel tour inside a golf cart. Due to the hotel being fully booked, I had to choose a different room for our first night. It was a double bungalow room. A standard one. The room was ok, and it had a small cool balcony overseeing the pool. However, the AC was loud, and the shower glass was too small--which made water splash everywhere. For the rest of our stay, the remaining six nights, I booked the Double Bungalow room with an Outdoor Jacuzzi. Rooms in the hotel are far away from each other, and walking from one end of the hotel to the other can take up to ten minutes. But transferring to the second room was a breeze. Logistics made easy; a bellboy aided by a golf cart took care of all our luggage. This room was truly spectacular. Amazing walk-in rain shower, spacious closets, sofa, and a gorgeous jacuzzi deck balcony. Covid policies were tactfully enforced. Masks were mandated only in the shared dining areas and inside the spa. PCR tests for guests ending their stay at the hotel were scheduled in advance by the front desk, and were easily located and done near the lobby. We paid 35 euros per person. For guests filling up their plates in the buffet area, one-time-use gloves were placed strategically near each food line. The breakfasts were really good. Fresh cheeses, smoked salmon, and quality meats were served alongside daily baked bread. Lot’s of options to choose from; eggs, meats, and carbs - with lots of desserts and fresh fruits. Dinner at the buffet was OK. We ate there one night. Luckily, there’s an Italian restaurant available every night, separate from the buffet. We kept coming back to it. (The one on the lower floor, we didn’t try the chef restaurant upstairs). The food was great, specifically — the freshly baked salami pizza and Nutella Calzone. One night, we had a cooking show, where they made us fresh Carbonara pasta. It was good. On our third night, we crossed the street to see a soccer game at the Oasis bar. A nice local bar, in a street packed with nice restaurants, and other shops. We met a wonderful local lady named Valesia and her spoiled Frenchie, Paris. She runs a family-owned and hand-made business for custom art pieces ranging from painting to ceramics. On our fourth night, we tried the nearby local Greek restaurant. Prices were fair, but the food was average. The hotel boasts two pools, and both are fantastic. The smaller one is located near some of the rooms. The main one, located just next to the Italian restaurant and the pool bar. We stuck to the main pool due to its larger amount of beds and cabanas available, and its proximity to the bar. At night, the main pool’s floor tiles glow with unique lights. A sight to behold. Bars: so, one inside, as mentioned, is located in the main lobby, serving people sitting outside in the deck overseeing the Aegean. The second, by the pool, with lots of comfortable chairs and mini-beds. Both had great service, drinks, and vibes. The hotel also offers, of course, a private beach. It was great and offered all the amenities required to enjoy a day there, like comfortable chairs, clean bathrooms, and lots of showers. However, it’s worth mentioning: the seafloor is rocky, and beach-side service will cost you 0.50 Euros a trip. Our best dinner (and night) was definitely the Sea Side Dinner. They set up a trail of candles leading to a beautiful specially designated tent on the beach with a dedicated server and music. Dinner was a full-course meal, and it was the best food we ate on the island. Later on, a set of pillows, glasses, and a bottle of champagne were arranged with a serving of strawberries dipped in hot chocolate. It was sensational. Room service was always quick and got our orders in full. A six Euro fee is added to each room-service order. Strangely, the mini-bar wasn’t restocked each day. It was included in our all-inclusive service, and while we didn’t use it much, it was noticeable. I’ve stayed in the Four Seasons hotel in Budapest, the Grand Hyatt in Amman, Jordan, The Kempinski in Venice, Italy, and in the Wynn-Encore Suites in Las Vegas. The Port Royal Spa gives them a run for their money. The upper body massage we had was fantastic. The Mani-Pedi rooms, numerous massage rooms, hydro beds, and beautiful indoor pool (which was closed due to covid during our stay) are world-class. Ultimately, the reason this hotel is ranked so high both on Booking (9.5), and for me, is its warm, family-like hospitality. It’s family-owned and it certainly shows. From Panagiotis, the general manager, Evgenia the front desk manager — who both took great care of us, to Niko the bellboy, Mario, and Yannis at the bartenders, to Eva and Michaelis--the amazing servers at the restaurants. We had so much fun, jokes, and laughs with them. I seriously miss these people. Being picky, we found two grumpy employees, the electricity went off in our room one night but was fixed an hour later, and loud music from a nearby wedding at 3 AM occurred on another night. But the truth is—I forgot about all these things because the pros outweigh the cons significantly. It was the best all-inclusive stay of my life, and I would definitely go back.

Really good

We booked last minute so we had a standard bungalow room. A real nice and big room, with pool view. Everything was beautiful...the room very clean, the pools, the private beach.... the pool bar, and the restaurants. We had hf board so we didn't know that it should be only buffet. Thanks to Evi, we also went to the orders restaurants, la Pasteria...they have nice pasta and pizza... and the Ocean, their gourmet restaurant where I eat a reeeaally good risotto (just like in italy) and good fish, and lamb. We would like to say thanks to Evi, Giota, Michel and George...also the buffet waiters (we don't remember the names) ..all nice and kind people, that do their job professionally. We definitely recommend this place!!

Myself & my Husband decided to book this holiday last minute as it had been some time since we had a break! We were very concerned if we had made the right choice of location and hotel BUT HOW WRONG WE WAS!!! The location and hotel itself was AMAZING!!! The staff were amazing, friendly, always accommodating to all our needs. The Front Office Manager - Evgenia Latou greeted us everyday was always available to assist with anything if required! For example we had arrived a day before my husbands birthday and when I spoke to her about arranging a little something special for him she truly delivered!! The cleanliness too was spot on and again I was touched when not knowing that this particular lady that questioned me everyday if everything was good and if I had any problems with our room and facilities was the Housekeeping Manager who too was amazing!! We enjoyed the services also on the beach and the young lad that took care of us everyday with a smile and always intentive to our needs. Can’t fault the food, cleanliness overall definitely a 5 star experience, will definitely be booking for next year 2022!!!
