Evita Resort

Evita is an all-inclusive hotel near the popular tourist resort of Faliraki, on the Greek island of Rhodes. Backed by cypress-covered hills and a short walk from the beach, this family-friendly hotel offers a taste of island life with all the facilities of a modern resort.

There's a large swimming pool with a dedicated kid's section featuring three spiral water slides which are surrounded by a sun terrace where you can spend the afternoon sunbathing with a cool drink from the pool bar. Plus, you can reach the nearby water park by car in a few minutes if you want more water fun.

During the day, you can take part in the hotel-run aerobics and you can have a game of volleyball or football on the hotel lawns, while children can take part in kids' yoga. Once a week, staff host a Greek barbecue with live music and dancers. Evening entertainment takes place several nights a week.

Evita has a buffet restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. Soft drinks, local beer and wine are available with lunch and dinner. Snacks are offered during the day between meals. The lobby and pool bars are open late, while tea, coffee and cakes are served every afternoon in the lobby bar. You'll find a few places to eat in Kathara, or you can feast to your heart’s content in Faliraki which is just over a mile away. In the evening the resort comes alive and music fills the streets, so it's a place to head if you're looking for entertainment.

There's a kids' club (from late spring to mid-autumn), and sports are organised for older children and teens. They can play video games in the teen lounge.

Kathara Beach is a pebble beach 600m from the hotel and is quieter than Faliraki Beach, which is a little further away and has mix of sand and pebbles and shallow water. The popular beaches Ladiko Bay and Anthony Quinn Bay, located near Faliraki, can easily be reached by local bus or by car.

The capital of Rhodes is 17km from the hotel. The Old Town here is famous for its medieval walls and Palace of the Grand Masters. You can also go shopping in the modern part of Rhodes Town.

Your room at Evita will have a balcony or a terrace and there's centrally controlled air conditioning. Wi-Fi is available and there's also a TV.

Don't bother to book this hotel...

May 2022 | debbiekI5858JJ

This is the worse hotel I've ever stayed in...its dirty...rooms are awful...TV didn't work...cleaners were rude..didn't bother to clean rooms most days...never left bottled water...didn't change sheets..nor towels..food is awful...absolutely nothing here to do...I thought it couldn't be as bad as what the reviews said but it's worse...reception staff are so rude especially the miserable old cow on the desk...so unhelpful like she just couldn't be bothered at all....Evita resort you really do need to change the way you operate this hotel...I would never come back...I hope pple don't book to come here as you will be so disappointed...no luxury here at all...

Lower your standards!

First off, we had a great holiday. However, when we first arrived I was expecting a 4* hotel and quickly learnt that it’s a Greece 4* which I would say averages at a very basic 3* everywhere else. The room wasn’t cleaned properly, I wouldn’t say I’m high maintenance but a clean floor is very basic. There was sand still on one of the bedside tables too. A leak in the shower meant the floor was consistently wet. Sometimes the housekeeping would leave a new bath mat but only when they felt like doing so. No outdoor furniture on the terrace either. We asked to move rooms before we even unpacked, but was told that nothing can be done right now and to ask in the morning… luckily for them I cleaned myself and we had a great nights sleep, despite waking up freezing cold. We asked for blankets the next morning which were put in our room no problem and extra towels as we had two for all four of us. Food was as expected, just like every all inclusive, just basic and can get samey but always something to eat, the snack bar is the best especially if going with kids! The pools were freezing, to the point the kids didn’t really want to get in and adults certainly didn’t. The kids pool at the top was filthy I don’t think it was cleaned the whole time we were there, so we went and sat around the shallow end of the main pool (near the “spa”), we must of been there all of 15 minutes before the lady that runs the “spa” came out shouting for us to be quiet because someone was getting a massage. Now, I understand this person will of paid for it HOWEVER, you have put this “spa” (more of a shed with a table in it) next to the shallow end of the main pool!? You’re going to get noise! So I suggest moving it somewhere quieter if that’s the vibe you’re going for. The entertainment for the kids was great, I didn’t get the gentleman’s name but he was there every night for the kids! My little girl who is usually very shy absolutely loved it and as has been doing the dances and singing the songs since we got home! After lowering my standards, I relaxed and enjoyed the holiday for about 4 days until some guests arrived above us and blasted music from 10am until tea time, which was fine as we wasn’t in for long during those times but he also decided to blast it when he got in from nights out it seems as we were woken up multiple times by music or him shouting. I know the hotel can’t help who books the hotel, however maybe think logically where you’re placing people. A family with young children and a room of young men are on holiday in the Easter holidays for very different reasons. We came on holiday with my friend and her family so their was eight of us in total yet the only big tables in the entire restaurant were “reserved” for another “big family” every night and morning so we couldn’t eat together always. It was really disappointing as the table was never actually in use whilst we were dining, it was always much later so they could of free’d the space up for other families rather than this ONE in particular. I didn’t realise we were even allowed to reserve tables otherwise we would of done it upon arrival before they were reserved by somebody else 2 days later. Anthony Quinn Bay is well worth a visit if you’re staying here and the bus to Rhodes is super cheap and worth doing! Nothing really around, the water park looked amazing but it was shut Easter holidays so we couldn’t go. All of the staff were friendly enough, but if we return to Greece we will probably pay the extra and go somewhere else, but you get what you pay for with this hotel so don’t go with high expectations!

Holiday spa

The holiday spa is amazing. Katalina made us feel like family. Very good price. Anna has fingers of magic and Roxanna was great with my partner who has a lot of pain. We felt amazing after every treatment. The spa made our holiday. Lots of love Sarah and Tracey
