Aquatica Water Park in Kardamena

If you want to have a day of fun and games while you're in Kardamena, then pay a visit to the Aquatica Water Park. Catering for all ages, a trip to this park is the perfect family day out.

Sitting just a few kilometres southwest of Kardamena, it's only a five minute drive to get to Aquatica Water Park. If you're feeling active, it'll take just over half an hour to walk there. The road runs right along the coast, so you'll have lovely views out across the sparkling Aegean as you chatter about which rides you're going to try.

Arriving at the park, you can store your valuables in a safe box for a small fee. Your ticket includes unlimited use of the pool, lazy river and sunbeds, as well as the playground and slides. Make the most of this and start exploring the park right away.

Grab a rubber ring and zip down the Wave Ride, before folding your arms across your chest as you shoot down the Kamikaze. Race your companions down the Multitrack slide, before daring the Free Fall. Stand under the playground's Big Bucket for a true soaking, then catch your breath as you float gently down the lazy river.

When you get hungry, there's a cafe right in the centre of the park which serves a reasonably priced selection of food and drinks. Fill up on a homemade pizza, or go for a refreshing salad before you slurp a cool ice cream and relax by the swimming pool.

After you've had your fun at Aquatica Water Park, head back to Kardamena and catch the late afternoon sun at the beach, before rounding off your day with a cocktail at Calypso Bar.
