Skiathos Nightlife Greece

While Skiathos might offer old-school Greek charm and tranquil, golden-sanded beaches, it offers much more, particularly for those who like their nights longer than their days. Not all the partying happens by moonlight, head up to Banana Beach where you'll find beach bars pumping out feel-good tunes with an excellent range of refreshments on offer throughout the day and into the evening. Wherever you choose to visit in Skiathos, you'll always have a great time, but there are a few places worth putting on your radar.

Harbour life

Skiathos nightlife more or less divides itself into two areas: you'll find all the movers and groovers head for the area of Skiathos Town that overlooks the harbour. Here, you'll find clubs, such as Montecristo, keeping the younger crowds entertained with live DJ sets and a buzzing atmosphere.

Similarly, the Jaguar Club, just a short walk away, offers an extensive range of cocktails and an outdoor drinks area, complete with garden swings. If you're going here for the night, put your best outfit on, as this is where clubbers go to be seen on the scene.

Rock and blues

The nightlife isn't just about cool cocktails and house music; it comes in many forms. For something a bit more old-school, look out for the Rock and Roll Club, near the harbour. You'll find comfortable, colourful sofas sitting under the trees and a fairly rustic, atmospheric interior. Music-wise, you'll hear Latin music and, in keeping with the name, lots of rock anthems.

Older partygoers don't have to feel excluded from the fun; enjoy the laid-back charms of Kentavros. Think atmospherically-dark walls peppered with old-time portraits, shelves littered with knick-knacks, and the best in blues and funk music, and you're halfway there. Kentavros is full of character and certainly knows how to host a party!

Mama Mia!

If you're taking your break between June and September, you'll be in time for one of the most unusual and fun fixtures of the Skiathos nightlife. Between these months, the Attikon Open Air Cinema hosts regular screenings of the movie, Mama Mia! Filmed locally, the movie attracts a lively crowd, who interact with the characters onscreen. You can take a drink, grab a seat and watch this feel-good film under the stars. Whatever you want from your evenings in Greece, the Skiathos nightlife is sure to have something for you.
