“A Solo Traveller’s Little Slice of Heaven”
I honestly had the most wonderful stay at Galatea in Kypseli. As a solo traveller, finding somewhere where you feel genuinely comfortable, relaxed and looked after is so important, and from the moment I arrived, I felt completely at ease. It really was the perfect place for me. The apartment was lovely, spacious, comfortable and had absolutely everything I needed. But the large terrace was the real highlight for me. Sitting outside overlooking the olive groves, listening to the sea in the distance, was just magical. As someone travelling alone, I especially appreciated having such a beautiful, peaceful space to enjoy on my own. I spent so much time out there simply relaxing and taking in the view and beautiful smells. Elena, the owner, was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, kind and so approachable, and I always felt that I could contact her if I needed anything. When I arrived, she sent me links to the local supermarket and tavernas, which was incredibly helpful. I had explained that I was travelling alone and wouldn’t have a car, and she was so thoughtful that she even offered me a bicycle. Those little gestures made such a difference and made me feel very welcome and looked after. The location was perfect for me as a solo traveller. The supermarket was around a 14 minute walk away, and the beautiful sandy beach was about a 18 minute walk, with a lovely taverna right beside it. I really enjoyed being able to walk everywhere and explore at my own pace. I never felt isolated, but at the same time I had the peace and privacy I was looking for. I also have to mention Nadia, the cleaner, who was fantastic. She was so friendly and lovely, and the apartment was kept beautifully. The bins and towels were changed every day and the sheets every couple of days. It made the whole stay feel incredibly well cared for. Travelling alone can sometimes feel a little daunting, but staying at Galatea made it feel easy. I felt safe, comfortable and genuinely welcomed, while still having all the privacy and independence I wanted. It was the perfect balance. I genuinely didn’t want to leave. Galatea gave me everything I had hoped for from my time in Kypseli, peace, comfort, beautiful surroundings and, most importantly, the feeling of being somewhere I could truly relax and feel at home. Thank you, Elena, for being such a wonderful host. I would absolutely stay at Galatea again and would recommend it wholeheartedly, especially to anyone travelling alone, but also for couples and families. I’m already hoping I’ll get the chance to come back.

“Best place”
Elena is the greatest host like I'm ever see! I heartily recommend to visit this place. It is a quiet and friendly place close to the sea, where you can really relax. My wife and I were very pleased..

“Perfect”
I enjoyed this hotel. Kind personal, peace and lot of cats :) Beach is not so far, walk around 10 minut, if you go to psarou or 20 minut id you go to amoundi. Room were cleaned every day. In the room there is everything what you need to cook.

“Wonderful cozy calm hotel”
We visited this hotel in September with my sister. As we already been to Laganas, we wanted something calm and cozy. This hotel is a mix of village stay and perfect hotel studio. Location is a bit far from everything, but in walking distance to big supermarket, nice bakery and two restaurants ( one of them is right at the sea side down of the hotel road). In 40 minutes we were walking to Alikanas. Hotel surrounded with wonderful garden and olive trees forest! There are only three floors and each of them has wonderful view ( or sea , or garden). Each room has a terrace where you can have breakfast listening to the birds. Room is spacious, with good fully equipped kitchen and fridge. We had no problem with WiFi- signal was very good. The owner of the hotel is wonderful gentlemen - Mr.Spiros! He was very helpful and kind to us! We would definitely recommend this place!

“'Great 😊'”
We wanted to book somewhere out of the way from the party scene in Zante, and found this place through hotels.com. The rooms are spacious and the view out from our balcony is amazing and has great air conditioning. The only issue really is it is a little further away than anticipated but we like to walk and travel on holiday so not too much of an issue. If you get a taxi it's around €11 to Tsivili which I would highly recommend for shops and the beach. The owner was very helpful indeed, just a little bit of a language barrier. The only other issue was the wifi and there is no English TV so make sure you have something downloaded or your own internet or dongle. But this has been great for the price 😊
