“Excellent Hotel in all Areas”

On our arrival the taxi dropped us at the bottom of the road which meant a 200m walk with the case at 1am.  Not good but not the hotel's fault.  Be aware that you walk up from the road and reception is on your left not the new building in front of you. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming.  The hotel has 2 large pools and plenty of sunbeds.  All areas were very clean and well maintained. Our room was "deluxe with a side sea view".  It was large with plenty of hanging and drawer space. The balcony was large and had more than enough room for the table and 3 chairs.  All areas of the room were clean. The bed was large and very comfy with good quality bed linen and selection of pillows. During our stay we slept well as the room sound proofing was good. The bathroom is also a good size. The shower is powerful and hot and the towels were good quality. Only downsides were; The shower did not have a shower door which meant that when using the shower water flowed under the bathroom door into the bedroom. We had to leave a hand towel on the floor in the bedroom. The bathroom door is glass.  It is not clear so you cannot see anyone but if anyone uses the bathroom during the night and puts the light on anyone else sleeping is woken up. When you arrive you are given a code and details of the hotel app.  This allows you to book a timeslot for breakfast and to see other facilities that the hotel offers.  Breakfast was a good variety of food inc standard continental, hot options, waffles, pancakes. Areas for improvement are: There is one 4 slice toaster for everyone to use. This did not brown the bread even if the dial was turned up, was extremely slow and you could only put thin sliced bread in.  A new toaster is required and it would be better to have a conveyor belt toaster.  This would enable slices of the crusty bread to be put in. Whilst there are hot egg options ie poached, scrambled, fried, omelettes.  These are pre-prepared and left under lights to keep warm.  This means that they were often overcooked and rubbery.  There is a small kitchen where the omelettes etc are cooked.  It would be better if people ordered their eggs here and they were freshly cooked to order.  Other hotels we have stayed in do this and it seems to work very well.  The hotel and resort seemed to have lots of German tourists. Overall an excellent hotel where the staff do everything they can to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible.

“Will not be returning to Greece”

I travelled to Alianthos this past summer and had an interesting experience. I will list the pro's and con's of the trip below. Pros: - Newly renovated rooms - Newer gym - Good homemade lemonade Cons: - I was downgraded on the 1st night from a Jacuzzi room to a Basic Room and the management provided a contract stating no complaints or mention of this this was permitted upon signing - Housekeeping entered our room despite a do-not-disturb sign, and we were told, management requires entry/cleaning every third day. After checking out, I realized a pair of diamond earrings was missing from the room. I can’t say when, and I have reported it. - Multiple fixtures in the room did not work properly or were broken (including the jacuzzi which took 1 day to heat up) - The restaurant has been converted from a small hotel to a resort therefore the dining area is not suited for the new capacity of people - The hotel is not located directly across the street from the beach as I had originally thought, the cabana's are roughly a 10-minute walk away - Upon arrival you will be provided with a "welcome meeting" with, the Sales Manager, to purchase outdoor packages - There is construction daily between 9am to 6pm that can be heard from the rooms

“Pure perfection in Plakias”

We had a wonderful stay at Alianthos Estate Resort in Plakias. From top to bottom, this resort exceeded our expectations. The rooms are remarkably clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need. We especially appreciated the generous touch of having high-quality shower gel, shampoo, and body conditioner continuously replenished, alongside a coffee machine stocked with unlimited, great-quality coffee capsules. Breakfast was fantastic—a rich, high-quality buffet spread with plenty of delicious options. The free Greek coffee station was a delightful highlight that added a genuine local touch to our mornings. Beyond the amenities, the facilities are top-notch. The two pool areas are beautiful and relaxing, and the complimentary beach sunbeds are extremely comfortable. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Have been coming here for the past 30 years. It is a fantastic place to visit. From the extreme comfort, to the fantastic food and overwhelmingly friendly and professional staff.
