Disappointed with service and poor attitude of staff

After a great overall experience years ago at Beaches Turks and Caicos, we were extremely disappointed with the poor service and especially bad attitude of many staff we interacted with during our short stay. While some were very hospitable, friendly, and cheerful, about 60% of staffers appeared quite unhappy; They were curt, dismissive and impolite. Everyone has an off day, but the level of consistent unprofessionalism by the majority of staff was quite shocking, especially for a resort that bills itself as having extremely high service standards. We quickly formed the impression that the training/management may be lacking and was the root cause. They really missed the mark at this resort, and even though the amenities were updated, clean, and comfortable, and the beach beautiful and also very clean, our experience was such that we will be looking at alternative luxury ressorts for our next getaway and will not be recommending this resort to friends and family.

Chilled and relaxed just what we wanted

Have been to sandals Jamaica Ochos Rio’s and thought we’d try Bahamas . Royal Bahamian . We booked honey moon west bay junior suite club level and very pleased with it . Spacious room with balcony lovely bathroom . The resort has a quiet pool and busier pool for younger people with music and volleyball. I like this because we are older we like more quiet . The swim up rooms we saw were interesting as not much privacy one side of building but a lot the other side which is car park facing but if on that level you’d never know . We were 5 th floor and had sea view . The food options are great even the street food trucks . Amazing beach . Love the laid back vibe here never feel Rushed which is what we like . Only complaint is only one loo cubicle by the pool so often a queue . There should be more

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sandals Royal Bahamian. The resort was so lovely and compact. I like that is was easy to navigae and not too spread out. Our room was wonderful. I can't say enough about the staff and hospitality. Restaurants, food and drinks were on point! The private island is an extra luxurous bonus which we enjoyed immensely. We will definitly be returning sometime in the future!
