What does 'non-refundable room' mean?

A ‘non-refundable’ room means it's usually cheaper than other options, but you need to pay in full when you book.
Once your booking is confirmed, you cannot make changes or cancel a ‘non-refundable’ booking. If you cancel your booking, you won’t get your money back.
This is a great option if your travel plans are definite and you're looking to save on costs.
