Your money is secured in a trust account
Unlike many other travel companies we operate on a trust account model. Once we’ve paid the airline for your flights, the rest of your money is held in a trust account. We do not have access to this directly and can only withdraw funds when you are back home from holiday
We're ATOL protected
All of our holidays that include flights are protected by the ATOL scheme from the moment you book. So if one of our suppliers fails, you’ll get your money back. If you’re left stranded abroad, a flight home will be arranged at no extra cost. Our ATOL number is 11806
We're ABTA registered
As proud ABTA members we deliver the highest standards when it comes to our holidays. So if you book with us you’re guaranteed the best service. Our ABTA number is P8283, Y6720.

You can only book baggage for Wizz Air flights on their website.
You'll need to create an account with Wizz Air during the process. We've dropped a link below to take you there, but you might find it helpful to read these instructions first. And just so you know, you’ll be paying them directly, so it won’t show on your Thomas Cook invoice.
Make sure you have the following handy, as you can't access your booking without it!
Your flight reference. This is not your Thomas Cook booking reference. You’ll find it in the Flights section of your Thomas Cook invoice / confirmation, labelled either ‘Airline reference’ or ‘Flight booking number’ (depending on when you booked your holiday), as in these examples:

Follow the link to Wizz at the bottom of this page and select 'check-in & bookings'. Then, enter your airline reference (see above) in the 'Confirmation code' box and your surname.
You’ll then be able to create an account so that you can choose and pay for any extra baggage and pre-booked seating (see example below). Remember, you’ll need to pay Wizz Air for these.
