Thomas Cook unlocks flexible stays with new self-catering range and ‘wishlist’ planning tool

Over 1,500 self-catering properties now live, giving customers more freedom and flexibility when they travel

New ‘wishlist’ tool lets customers save, compare and revisit their favourite stays with ease

Online travel agency Thomas Cook has expanded its holiday offering by introducing self-catering options across more than 1,500 existing properties on its website, giving customers greater flexibility and control over how they travel.

Now available to book, the new range spans 15 countries - from European favourites such as Malta and Italy, to long-haul destinations including the USA and Mexico.

Some of the travel company’s standout self-catering properties include:

  • 4* Hotel Apartamento Paraiso De Albufeira, Albufeira, Portugal - a central aparthotel centered around a huge lagoon-style pool
  • 4* H10 Casa de la Plata, Seville, Spain - a design-led boutique-style hotel planted in Seville’s historic city centre
  • 4* Floridays Resort Orlando, Florida, USA - spacious multi-bedroom suites with full kitchens and living areas, delivering a true home-from-home stay
  • 4* Ona el Marqués Resort, Tenerife, Spain - a laid-back apartment resort offering spacious self-catering accommodation with private terraces and ocean views

Alongside the launch, Thomas Cook has introduced a new ‘wishlist’ feature, designed to make trip planning easier. Customers can save up to 20 properties to their account, and return to them at any time - taking the hassle out of narrowing down the perfect stay.

Jaime Thompson, Head of Inventory & Trading at Thomas Cook, said:

“We’re focused on giving customers more choice and making it easier to plan holidays their own way. Self-catering properties add to this flexibility, while our ‘wishlist’ function helps customers keep track of the properties they love - so they can book with confidence when the time is right.”

Customers booking with Thomas Cook can choose from over 20,000 hotels across 72 destinations throughout Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas, and enjoy flexible travel options with more than 190 airline partners. All package holidays are ATOL protected, giving customers peace of mind and enhanced financial security, as well as the reassurance of ABTA's Code of Conduct.
