Thomas Cook launches package holidays to Saudi Arabia

50 hotels added to the online travel agency’s portfolio

Direct flights from London Gatwick, London Heathrow and Manchester

In response to growing demand for long-haul getaways, online travel agency Thomas Cook has launched package holidays to Saudi Arabia, further diversifying its luxury holiday offering.

The move follows a significant uplift in long-haul bookings, with demand for the Middle East continuing to rise. Thomas Cook bookings to the United Arab Emirates in particular, are up more than 700% year-on-year, prompting the expansion of the OTA’s portfolio to include Saudi Arabia.

Customers can now choose from 50 hotels across key destinations including Jeddah and Riyadh, with accommodation available on a room-only, bed and breakfast, or half-board basis. 

Direct flights operate seven days a week from London Gatwick, London Heathrow and Manchester, with indirect flights available via Birmingham International, Edinburgh and London Stansted.

Saudi Arabia offers various unique experiences for holidaymakers - from exploring Jeddah’s UNESCO-listed Al-Balad and diving the pristine Red Sea just offshore, to discovering the birthplace of the Saudi state at Diriyah and experiencing vast desert landscapes and stargazing just outside Riyadh.
