1. Introduction
1.1. This promotional competition (“Competition”) is run by Thomas Cook Tourism (UK) Company Limited, with its registered address at 1 Fore Street Avenue, London EC2Y 9DT, United Kingdom, incorporated in England and Wales with registered company number 12211539 (“TCT”) and is open to all residents of the United Kingdom, the Channel Islands or the Isle of Man over the age of 18 years, except for:
A. the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoters and their immediate families;
B. the directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of any suppliers of any goods or services to the Promoters in respect of this Competition;
C. directors, members, partners, agents, consultants or employees of the Promoters’ advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and participating outlet owners and staff.
1.2 The rules set out in this document constitute the rules which will govern the Competition (“Competition Rules”).
1.3 Participation in the Competition by all entrants (“Participants”) constitutes and will be deemed acceptance of these Competition Rules.
2. Competition Period
2.1 This Competition will run from 29 July 2026 to 29 September 2026 (inclusive) with entries closing at 23:59 (UK time) on the last day of the Competition Period or until TCT provides a public notice that the Competition has ended, whichever is earlier (“Competition Period”). Entries will only be accepted during the Competition Period.
3. Competition Entry Process
3.1 This Competition will take place via this landing page here. In order to enter the Competition, a Participant must:
A. Provide their first name, last name and email address
3.2 Entry is only valid through this medium and manner. Only one entry per person
4. Description of the Prize
4.1 The selected winner (1) of the Competition will receive a “Prize”, that is a package holiday up to the value of £2,000 including flights from a UK departure airport, subject to availability.:
4.2 The Prize does not include: spending money; any additional taxes or charges (including but not limited to airport taxes, visa fees, or travel insurance); or excursions.
4.3 The holiday must be taken within the travel window of 1 October 2026 to 31 May 2027 (inclusive). The holiday is subject to availability on dates agreed with TCT.
4.4 Only one Prize is available to be won during the Competition Period and the Prize has a value of up to £2,000.
4.5 If applicable, the winner must on request provide the Promoters with a copy of their travel documents in order for the Promoters to arrange the relevant flights.
4.6 Use of the Prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions, including those applicable to flights and other forms of transport, as well as accommodation.
4.7 The holiday must be booked and dates confirmed within 28 days from the date it was awarded to the winner, and must be taken within the travel window specified in clause 4.3 above.
4.8 No Prize, in whole or in part, can be transferred to any other person or exchanged for an alternate prize or for its cash value. There is no cash alternative to the Prize. The winner may not substitute him/herself with any other person.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 The winner will be selected by a random draw process. The draw will take place on 30 September 2026 and will consist of all valid entries received during the Competition Period.
5.2 The winner will be notified by TCT via email on 30 September 2026. If TCT is unable to contact the winner within 14 days of the draw, he/she will be disqualified and a substitute winner may at the discretion of TCT be selected, using the same winner selection process.
5.3 The Promoters reserve the right to carry out audits in respect of the winner to verify his/her eligibility and/or the validity of the winner’s entry. The Promoters may disqualify any winner if any fraud or cheating or related activity is suspected, including, without limitation, through the manipulation of entries or otherwise falsifying data. All entries or participants determined by the Promoters or their agents to be invalid or ineligible will forfeit all rights to any Prize and will not be compensated in any way.
6. General
6.1 In the event of a dispute, TCT’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. This clause does not affect any Participant’s non-excludable statutory rights, and Participants may still raise queries about the conduct of the Competition with TCT.
6.2 The timelines stated by TCT or its agent must be adhered to. Failing adherence to any timeline, at any stage, may result in disqualification and forfeiture of the Prize in its entirety with no compensation to any party by the Promoters.
6.3 The Promoters may make media announcements or publish the names and/or photographs of the winner without remuneration being made payable to the winner, provided that any such person may expressly elect to decline this by written communication to TCT.
6.4 Should the Prize not be available despite the Promoters’ reasonable endeavours to procure the Prize, the Promoters reserve the right to substitute the Prize with another of equal value as determined in TCT’s sole discretion and subject to availability. No person will be compensated in any way in this instance by the Promoters.
6.5 The Promoters will not be responsible for any costs, expenses or other liabilities incurred by the winner which are not expressly contemplated as part of the Prize.
6.6 TCT reserves the right to alter, amend or cancel this Competition in whole or in part. Any alterations, amendments or cancellations will be interpreted by TCT only. In the event of an alteration, amendment and/or cancellation, the Promoters will not compensate any individual for any reason whatsoever.
6.7 Each Participant represents, warrants, and undertakes that it shall not nor shall any entry:
A. disparage the Competition, the Promoters, or any member of the Promoters’ group in any way;
B. violate a third party’s rights, including intellectual property rights;
C. harass, bully, or unlawfully discriminate against Promoters’ personnel or third parties;
D. make false or misleading statements;
E. contain content which is inappropriate, indecent, hateful, or defamatory;
F. promote bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or promotes discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and
G. breach any applicable law.
6.8 TCT may immediately disqualify any entry and remove any content which it determines contravenes or may contravene these Competition Rules. All Participants and the winner hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Promoters, their respective associated companies (directors, officers and employees) and agents, against any and all claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever connected to or arising out of their participation in any way in this Competition or their receipt, participation, ownership and/or use of the Prize. This indemnity is not intended to exclude any liability for any person which cannot be excluded by applicable law.
6.9 The Promoters shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, corrupted, delayed, incorrect or incomplete entries for any reason whatsoever. Proof of sending an entry will not be accepted as proof of receipt of such entry. The Promoters shall not be responsible for the failure of any technical element relating to this Competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted. The Promoters are not responsible for lost, damaged or delayed entries as a result of any network, computer or mobile phone hardware or software failure of any kind. No applications from agents, third parties, organised groups or applications automatically generated by computer will be accepted. Entries will only be accepted if they comply with all entry instructions. Any form of network or systems manipulation including but not limited to Botnets, Sim Farms, Trojans, SMS malware may not be used when entering the Competition.
6.10 By participating in the Competition each Participant will be asked to opt in to the Promoters’ marketing their products and campaigns to the Participant, and through the Participant’s entry into the Competition, the Promoters shall be entitled to use the entry details provided by the Participant for these purposes.
6.11 The Promoters shall not be in breach of these Competition Rules nor liable for delay in performing, or failure to perform, any of its obligations if such delay or failure results from events, circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control.
6.12 These Competition Rules and any non-contractual rights or obligations arising out of or in relation to them, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the Participants irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts for any dispute arising in connection with the Competition Rules or the Competition.
