The USA is made up of 50 states with diverse landscapes including Alaska in the northwest, the Mojave Desert, and sunny Florida. With its large size, you can expect different climate types depending on where you are in the USA. The north has a humid continental climate that warms up in the south to more of a subtropical climate. The best time to visit the USA is in the summer for the warmest temperatures and the most sunshine. July and August are the hottest months with an average high of 34°C, which is perfect for relaxing on Miami Beach or shopping around New York City. As you move towards the west, the climate is semi-arid with hot and dry weather in the southwest.
