What’s the weather like in Djerba in June?
Sitting just off the eastern coast of Tunisia, Djerba is a beautiful island with picture-perfect scenery and a lovely climate. It has Mediterranean-style weather, although winter’s drier than other Mediterranean destinations. You won’t have to worry about wet weather in June when temperatures start to soar, and there are 12 hours of sunshine each day. If you want a beach break in the sun without the high temperatures of July and August, June is a great month to go on holiday to Djerba.
In June, the average temperature in Djerba is 24ºC, reaching highs of 28ºC in the peak of the day. With this heat and very high UV levels, make sure you regularly apply lots of sun cream when you’re at the beach or exploring the island. Temperatures only dip to 20ºC once the sun sets, so you won’t need anything warmer than a t-shirt for evenings out. The island only has a couple of millimetres of rain in June, while the Mediterranean waters warm to 24ºC, perfect for swimming and snorkelling.
