      Djerba

Djerba is a beautiful tropical island just off the southern coast of Tunisia in North Africa. The island has a very hot and dry Mediterranean climate with high temperatures throughout the summer and slightly cooler winters. Spring is the best time to go to Djerba before the sizzling heat arrives in the summer. It’s still warm, but temperatures are more comfortable at 20°C in March that increases to 25°C in May. The Rainy season begins in the second half of October, which means you’re more likely to experience light to moderate showers during your holiday. For a drier climate, the best time to visit Djerba is in the summer. July and August are the warmest months of the year with temperatures reaching highs of 33°C. The summer is great for water sports because the sea has warmed up to 24°C and often increases to 29°C in August. A relaxing swim helps to cool you down, but don’t forget to wear high factor sun protection as the UV levels are quite high at this time of year.
