With long sunny days and temperatures over 20°C, the Stockholm weather in June is the best all year. Rainfall increases a little compared to spring, but any showers won’t spoil your special summer trip to the exciting capital of Sweden.
Geographical influences
While winters in Sweden are bitterly cold with not much daylight, the summer months are warm and bright. Stockholm’s found in the south east of the country and Sweden’s actually quite a dry country compared to the rest of northern Europe. The western mountains in Norway shield it from the Jet Stream winds.
