Playa Del Ingles
What’s the weather like in Playa del Ingles in February?
Playa del Ingles is a popular beach destination on Gran Canaria’s sun-drenched south coast. As part of the Canary Islands, a subtropical climate brings warm weather to the resort all year round. Although it’s technically winter in February, temperatures aren’t that much cooler than the peak of summer. This is the wettest and cloudiest time of year, but there’s still hardly any rain in February and the sun shines for an average of eight hours each day.
The average temperature in Playa del Ingles is a lovely 17ºC in February, reaching highs of 20ºC in the peak of the afternoon. It’s warm enough to relax on the beach during the daytime, but you’ll need some warmer clothes for evenings out in the resort, as the temperature drops to a low of 14ºC after dark. Less than 20mm of rain’s expected this month, making Playa del Ingles the perfect place to escape the cold and wet UK winter. If you want to go for a dip, the Atlantic waters measure 19ºC in February.
