    Lagos weather February

What’s the weather like in Lagos in February?

February is a pleasant time to visit Lagos because there’s a lot less rain and the weather is drier and sunnier than last month. Although it’s not the warmest time of the year, it’s very quiet and peaceful at the resort, which is perfect if you’re looking for the ultimate relaxing getaway.

    Geographical influences

You’ll find this beautiful town in southern Portugal’s Algarve region. It has a lot to offer, including a golf course, historical buildings and ancient forts. The beach is stunning with epic views of the Atlantic Ocean and soft golden sands. The Barlavento coast is known for being very windy and Lagos is no exception. There are regular sea breezes near the coast, which can make the climate colder at night so remember to pack a few extra layers for your visit.

You’ll have ten hours of sunlight per day, which has increased from the nine hours experienced last month. There’s 37mm of rainfall, which means there’s a chance of rain but you’re just as likely to not see any during your stay. Humidity levels are around 71% with 13mph winds helping to keep the humid weather at bay. The average temperature is 16°C that cools to 10°C.
