Weather in Germany

Germany is located in central-western Europe and has a temperate seasonal climate with four distinct seasons. The east is colder than the rest of Germany, with cities like Berlin enjoying added shelter from the urban buildings and roads. The south is also very cold with more rain in the Alpine regions. If you don’t mind cooler weather, the best time to go to Germany is in the autumn or spring. Temperatures are mild and enjoyable and it’s also one of the quietest times to visit the country before the busy summer crowds swarm in.
