    Borovets weather February

What's the weather like in Borovets in February?

Borovets is a popular ski resort in Bulgaria’s Sofia Province, on the northern slopes of the Rila mountains. Winters are freezing cold in the resort, which creates great conditions for enjoying winter sports. February is one of the best months for skiing and snowboarding, but you’ll need to pack lots of warm, thick layers whether you’re getting involved with the snowsports or not. Make sure you come prepared for the chilly weather with a good winter coat, hat, scarf and gloves.

At this time of year, the average temperature reaches highs of 0ºC in Borovets and falls to -7ºC at night, so don’t forget to bring your winter wardrobe. There’s around 55mm of rain forecast this month, with one in three days seeing some wet weather. Although the odd shower’s expected, there’s still four hours of sunshine each day in February, ideal for making the most of the slopes.
