Plan your visit in May to experience the Marmaris Maritime and Spring Festival. Each street has something different going on, with basketball games, acrobatic slam-dunk shows and performances from talented folk dancers. It's competitions galore with the photography shows, cutest dog contest, boat building battles and many more events at the festival. Head down to the beach to see the extravagant sandcastles then honour the time old tradition by participating in a huge picnic with all the other visitors. In the evening the beach becomes a party zone with lots of different events and live music which plays well into the night.
