“Excellent location, clean and comfortable.”
Really well situated. Couple of minutes walk to both the Forum and the Ampitheatre, as well as the main central pedestrian street in Cartagena, as well as to the port. We had to wait a bit for our room and had to leave our bags locked in the car as their luggage room was full, but not a big deal. The room and bed were comfortable and clean. We were on the third floor and had the window open so there was a bit of street noise but, hey, it's Spain!! The bar area was useful, which we used quite a bit. Breakfast was good as well, with plenty on offer at the buffet although they could do a bit better with the hot water for tea. Would stay again.

“Excellent Location, Stunning Hotel!”
Stayed here for one night as part of a solo trip and it was absolute luxury and perfection! The hotel is located just at the end of the main street Calle Mayor and on the edge of the port/harbour area. I travel vlog as a hobby and have stayed in a lot of hotels, nothing will beat this for optimum location. Everything is on the doorstep, museums, bars, restaurants, marina, shops etc all withing 1 minute from the hotel door. The room was VERY clean and modern with good AC. There was an ironing board & iron, safe, hairdryer etc. There are no USB charging points that I could see but there is a power outlet on both sides of the bed (you will need a travel adaptor) The bathroom has a rain shower and regular shower head along with shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There is also tea & coffee facilities int he room and TWO bottles of complimentary water. The TV didn't really have many English speaking channels just the usual sky news etc but it did have access to YouTube/Netflix. The best bit is the mini bar, you usually don't touch these as the prices are ridiculous but not here, €3 for a bottle of Estrella beer, Pringles/chocolate €2, bottles of Pepsi/juice €3 bottled water if you run out €2. I had breakfast included in my stay which was really nice, there is bacon, scrambled eggs and beans with a toaster available. The usual cold meats & cheeses, yoghurts, fruit, pastries, cereals etc. All very nice and worth the extra money, I went down for brekkie at around 08.00 and it was pretty much empty but filled up closer to 9am. The hotel isn't huge so I think you'd always get a table without any issues. The staff were ALL AMAZING! From the check in staff to the restaurant staff, all super friendly, spoke great English and always smiling! I stored my bag a number of times and it was never an issue! The lobby area was clean and comfortable and was handy to sort my bag out in before l set off when I checked out. I needed the complimentary water too so that was a nice touch. I didn't use the underground parking but I noticed there was a lift you drive into then it lowers you to the carpark. I heard the lady on reception say to another guest the car cannot be longer than 5meters for reference. There is only a handful of hotels in Cartagena, don't mess about just book the AC hotel (it's a Marriott if you didn't know) you will NOT regret it!

“Don’t hesitate to book this hotel”
We have been there for a long weekend and the hotel was absolutely amazing. Centrally located, well maintained and very clean. The staff is brilliant and we especially want Nawal for her kind assistance. She is absolutely caring a lot about the visitors of the hotel. The rest of the staff is of course brilliant too

“A gem in Cartagena”
We stayed last year for the Romans and Carthaginians Festival and were super impressed with the hotel, which had only recently been renovated under the Marriott brand. Fabulous decor, very inviting reception and downstairs area, our room was lovely with a stunning view of the port, great bathroom and luxurious toiletries. We didn’t have breakfast but ate in the bistro in the evening which was really pleasant. The staff there were brilliant. Sensibly priced drinks in the bar as well. Jesus, who checked us in, was a gentleman and gave us lots of good tips for making he most of our visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return.

“Great Hotel and Team”
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location in the city centre was fantastic with all the sights within walking distance. The staff were friendly and welcoming - thanks Diana on reception and David in the bar! The rooms were clean and functional. We also had a balcony and that was a nice spot for a drink in the evening. The car park elevator freaked us out as we’d never been in one. The car park is super tight, so no big cars going down there. You also pay extra for a space, but we thought it was worth it. The breakfast was really good. Spend the extra and have it. Overall, a satisfying experience.
