Playa De Los Tarajales Spain

For an alternative from the main beach in Los Cristianos, pay a visit to Playa de los Tarajales. To get there, take a walk down the hill starting at Hotel Paradise Park and onto the sands, where you can hire a sun lounger, paddle in the sea, and relax in the warmth of the Spanish sun. For lunch, there are plenty of bars and cafés along the beachfront so you can enjoy a drink and some food while sitting on the sand.

If you're visiting the beach with children, it's worth knowing that the shoreline at Los Tarajales is quite rocky in places. When you want a change from the beach, go and play a round at the mini golf course nearby or browse the local shops. There are some lovely neighbouring beaches too, including the popular Playa de las Vistas which can be reached by walking along the promenade or past the harbour. At Las Vistas, you can try all kinds of water sports, from jet skiing to riding on banana boats.

If you want a longer, more adventurous trip, go to the ferry port in Los Cristianos and take a journey over to the smaller Canary islands of La Palma, El Hierro and La Gomera. You can also go on dolphin and whale watching boat tours from the port. In the evening, go to Los Cristianos to have a meal at one of the many restaurants. If you're in the mood to party, you'll be spoiled for choice as you explore karaoke bars, live music venues and popular nightclubs.
