Overview

Perched on a gentle hillside in the quieter Old Town area of Puerto del Carmen, the 3-star BLUESEA Los Fiscos offers a more authentic Lanzarote experience. Beach

You’ll find the beautiful, sheltered sands of Playa Chica approx. within a 10-minute walk (800m) from the hotel. This beach is famous for its crystal-clear waters and is a local hotspot for snorkelling and diving. Please note that sun loungers and umbrellas on this public beach are available at an extra charge.

“What a DUMP !!!!!!!”

Where do I start, On arrival from out 10am flight we were told that check was at 3pm and to leave our case in a glass, unlocked cupboard shared with outgoing and incoming guests. Given our wrist bands and told me we could use the AI facilities. Red Flag Alert. One bar next to the pool full of extremely red Irish guests. If you have any mobile disabilities its near impossible to get there due to steps everywhere. Food, absolutely tasteless, cold, reused and generally disgusting. Rooms weren't much better but the mattress was comfy, no kettle, toaster or basic cooking equipment. No fans for the room and if you were lucky to get one, they charged you 3 euros per day. Only upside was the fridge worked perfectly for the water WE had to buy. Didn't spend much time in the apartment after that day and ate out. Every night there was a party starting at around 1.30am and finishing around 4.30am by drunken middle aged Irish families, didn't sleep for four nights, we complained to reception and was told to come back at 3pm for another room. They offered us a room on the 2nd floor with no lifts and we had booked an accessible room. We then decided to book a villa in Playa Blanca for our remaining six nights. No apologise from the staff, just took our key and shrugged his shoulders. My wife had a very upset stomach on holiday from the food and general lack of hygiene around the complex. Book at your peril, even the locals shook their head when they found out where we were staying. Blue Sea have a few resorts in the area and they are all of the same standard.

“Rude Staff Disgusting Rooms Bug Ridden”

⭐ Absolutely Disgusting Hotel – Would Not Recommend Honestly, this hotel was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. There were 16 of us on holiday, and although we all had a great time together, the hotel itself was absolutely shocking. We had to change rooms because the bedding in our first room clearly hadn’t been changed. It absolutely stunk of cat wee, and there was dirt everywhere. The second room was a little cleaner, but still very outdated, with cracked tiles and plenty of dirt. The cleaners only came in every two days, and on one occasion they put wet bedding on the beds. I also had bugs all over my bedding and ended up having to sleep in my clothes. The room stunk, and I eventually became poorly during the holiday. The reception staff were extremely rude and unhelpful. We had pre-booked taxis, but they never arrived because, as we were told, Angelo hadn’t ordered them. After waiting at reception for an hour and a half, he threw a piece of paper at my friend with a taxi number written on it. Absolutely disgraceful customer service. We had also paid a £160 deposit to the restaurant, which made the whole experience even more frustrating. The food was horrible, the salad was not fresh, and it appeared that food was being reused. I suffered with an upset stomach throughout the week, which made the food situation even more concerning. Breakfast was just about edible. You even had to pay €1 for a cup to get a drink at the bar, and there was no free water. For a hotel charging the prices it does, you would expect basic standards of cleanliness, decent food and good customer service, but unfortunately, none of these were provided. The entire place was dirty, cats were everywhere, there were no clean rooms to a decent standard, and there was absolutely no entertainment. I had bugs all over my bedding, the rooms smelled awful, and the overall hygiene was shocking. I paid just under £1,400 for myself and my son, and it wasn’t worth a single penny. I’ve stayed in much better hotels for less money. I even tried to book another hotel because I was so unhappy, but if it hadn’t been for my mates being there, I would have wanted to leave altogether. The only positive was spending time with friends. The hotel itself completely let us down. Poor cleanliness, awful food, concerns about food freshness, rude staff, no entertainment and a complete lack of basic standards. I would absolutely not recommend this hotel to anyone. Please do your research before booking, because I certainly wouldn’t return. A holiday should be a chance to relax and enjoy yourself, not worry about dirty bedding, bugs, questionable food quality, upset stomachs and terrible customer service. This hotel needs a serious improvement in cleanliness, food hygiene, management and customer care. Save your money and book somewhere else!
