Occidental Jandía Playa

Occidental JandÌa Playa is on the hillside above Jandia Beach on the island of Fuerteventura and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean. The hotel has three outdoor swimming pools in its grounds, including a heated infinity pool and a smaller pool for children. There are walkways and terraces around the swimming pools, planted with mature palm trees, and plenty of places for you to sit and relax in the sun or the shade. You can take part in an aerobics or aqua aerobics class. The hotel also has a gym, a sports court and tennis courts. There's an adults-only spa which has a Turkish bath and a sauna, and you can book a massage or a beauty treatment. The hotel hosts family-friendly entertainment every day, and there's a kids' disco. During your stay at Occidental JandÌa Playa, you can also use the mini golf course at the neighbouring hotel. The sandy Jandia beach is steps from the hotel, and the nearest centre Morro Jable is a short drive. You can hire a car through the hotel reception if you want to travel further afield. For golfers, Jandia Golf's 18-hole course is in the hills above Jandia, and is within driving distance of the hotel.
The beach is less than 500m from the hotel. It's part of the 21km stretch of coastline that runs around the peninsula, so there are lots of places to relax. The resort of Morro Jable is 3.5km from Barcelo Jandia Playa. There you'll find an avenue of shops, bars and places to eat, which runs alongside a 4km-long beach, which is home to a lighthouse. Fuerteventura is 100km from end to end, making a range of day trips possible with a hire car. You can explore the island's many beaches, or head inland to the Jandia Natural Park and the mountains.
There are two buffet restaurants with outside seating at Barcelo Jandia Playa. Between them, they offer breakfast and late breakfast, lunch and dinner. Both restaurants offer international cuisine. The hotel has five bars, including a poolside bar and a piano bar. There's also a mini market that's open in the evening.
There's a kids' club for ages 2-12 which runs activities such as treasure hunts and face painting. The hotel has table tennis and a pool table.
The rooms have a fridge and coffee maker, and there's individually controlled air conditioning. The rooms all have satellite TV and Wi-Fi.
