Sandos El Greco Hotel - Adults Only

Sandos El Greco is an adult-only hotel, in the away-from-it-all resort of Portinatx, northern Ibiza. A wide range of activities are possible locally including water sports, boat trips and snorkelling. Prefer to stay on dry land? There’s plenty of hiking and cycling opportunities around the gorgeous local countryside. For great vistas, you don't have to go too far, thanks to the resort being built into a hillside.

On site the hotel runs a wide range of activities including pool, table tennis and petanque tournaments, bingo, quizzes and Latin dancing. They also organise day trips to nearby points of interest, such as Moscater Lighthouse and Portinatx Tower.

Those intent on relaxing can visit The Wellness Centre, offering numerous different treatments from deep tissue to relaxing Thai massages, as well as a variety of beauty treatments. If you prefer to be in the sun, you can always relax on a lounger by the outdoor pool.

The Ibosim buffet restaurant offers Mediterranean and international cuisine, with views looking out to the Mediterranean Sea. You don’t need to get up early to ensure you get breakfast, as it is served until 10:30am. For lunch, why not try pizza from the Italian corner?

There’s four bars to choose from, including one poolside. The Snack Bar, open from 3pm to 5pm, offers American style fast food, such as cheeseburgers and hotdogs, alongside fresh fruit.

Rooms include a balcony/terrace, air conditioning, hairdryer, TV with satellite channels, mini fridge, tea and coffee making facilities and beach towels.

A day trip to Ibiza Town is possible from Sandos El Greco. Here, you'll find the UNESCO-listed old town with its Gothic and Renaissance architecture, stone courtyards and ornate chapels. There's also an open-air cinema where you can sit back and enjoy a classic film. While there is a bus route to Ibiza Town, which stops outside the hotel, do check the timetable carefully as it’s only a limited service.

If the heat gets too much for you then Marçà Caves are just a 25-minute drive from the hotel. Formed 100,000 years ago, they make even the oldest buildings in Spain seem very young in comparison!
