Beach


The hotel is located within walking distance, approx. 500 metres, from the rocky coastline of Qawra. Here, you can find flat rock platforms popular for sunbathing and swimming in the clear blue sea. A short 15-minute walk will take you to the Bugibba Perched Beach, a man-made sandy area. Please note that beach services like sun loungers and umbrellas are usually provided by third parties at an extra charge.

“Best Hotel in Malta”

Just back from another week here, our 2nd home. The best hotel in Malta, perfect location. Simon & his staff are truly the best, Jason (Chef) cooks the most delicious food and always looks after us. Rooms are spacious and very clean, hotel reception & dining room have been upgraded and looks fabulous. We were sad to leave but will be back soon. Honestly can't recommend ll-Palazzin enough, you won't be disappointed.

“OK but you can do better for the money”

The hotel is a few streets back from the main Qawra tourist areas. The Reception area was quite dark. On approaching the hotel there's no signage to indicate where the reception desk is (on you left behind you as you walk in) I mentioned it being dark and they put a few lights on but it was still gloomy. The hotel needs modernising. It doesn't look like much has changed since it was built The room was clean the bed comfortable. There wasn't any bottled water in the room, most 4 star hotels in Malta give you a free bottle of still water. The supplied toiletries on the room were a decent quality. The toilet was so close to the wall, bigger people need to sit to the side. There were 2 unidentified red stains on the bed. Didn't look like blood. Despite our room being close to the lifts we didn't hear noise. maybe a little bit from the street outside. The indoor and outdoor pools looked ok if a little bit small. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Coffee and Scrambled eggs were great, but everything else was bad. I'd suggest going room only and going out for breakfast. There is a lack of signage. no sign pointing to reception, the indoor pool, the bar or the dining area. £85 for 1 night in late September 2026 isn't too bad for a 4 star hotel in Malta. I don't think you'd be disappointed, but there are better places to stay

“A chilled week away”

This hotel is really a great find, away from the hustle of the main area of St Pauls Bay We found the hotel spotless, they clean the pool daily, the breakfast is buffet style and plenty of choice, we stayed here B & B, Beds were super comfortable. Downsides.. balcony furniture is really uncomfortable. During our stay there were various groups of Eastern Europeans staying, mainly women and they were rude and rowdy and took over as if the hotel was exclusively for them. Luckily Simon the manager was on hand to put this right, they also broke every rule around the pool area, staying in there one evening until 11.30pm. pool shuts at 8pm. The last downside is pool doesn't open until 10am and we are early birds. Id have appreciated it opening at 8am or 9am. Would we stay again.. maybe but i would be checking on the group situation with Simon before clicking the button. Generally though we had a lovely time. Spoiled by other guests but not the Hotel.
