The Arathena Rocks Hotel (4 stars) is situated right on the seafront, in the Schisò District of Giardini Naxos. This fabulous locality was the earliest Greek colonies in Sicily and is located right by Taormina (province of Messina). The Hotel is 1 km from the centre of Giardini Naxos and six from Taormina, which can be reached with a free shuttle service (two departures each day). The atmosphere in our hotel is warm and friendly, elegant and refined, and is all about relaxation. Our gorgeous open-air sea-water pool, surrounded by a lavish garden, is completed by deck chairs and parasols and is given by a breath-taking natural bay in the volcanic rock.This hotel holds one of the most interesting collections of decorative artefacts along the coastline of Taormina. Bas-reliefs, sculptures, wrought iron banisters, gilded frames, Baroque and hand-painted doors, and tile collections make this a unique selection of objets d'art. In its entirety, this collection lends the hotel the air of an extravagant private villa. The elegant rooms (available are doubles and triples) are welcoming and clean. They offer safes and air conditioning in the summer months. They are embellished by handmade artefacts, Mediterranean-style furniture, Caltagirone-style pottery, and naturally air conditioning, TV sets and en suite bathrooms.The Restaurant and snack-bar offers an à la carte menu of typical and international fare. The Restaurant is located on an attractive terrace overlooking the sea. The American Bar is open till late. Our bar is the ideal place to spend some quality time with friends and loved ones and to share an aperitivo in a fantastic Mediterranean setting. Those wishing to enjoy the outdoors setting can sip their aperitivo on the large terrace, by the pool, in an enchanting green corner.
