“Wonderful stay, with a few areas that could be improved”
We had a wonderful overall stay at the resort and were very impressed by the beautiful surroundings, atmosphere, and quality of the experience. The staff were friendly, and most importantly, the food and drinks were exceptional. The seafood in particular was a real highlight, fresh, delicious, and very well prepared. We also loved the attention to detail and the beautiful finishing touches and presentation in the restaurants. The overall dining experience was definitely one of the strongest parts of our stay. There were, however, a couple of things that could be improved. Our arrival experience was unfortunately quite disappointing. We waited around 45 minutes just to be shown where to park, followed by another 20 minutes before our luggage was collected and we were taken to reception. Since we arrived late and were traveling with our 1-year-old baby, the long wait was particularly difficult, and we almost missed dinner. We also noticed that some guests who arrived after us were checked in before we were. We also completely understand and appreciate the eco-friendly concept of the resort, but the restaurants were simply too hot during dinner. Improving the ventilation or adding air conditioning would make the dining experience considerably more comfortable. Thankfully, these were relatively minor issues compared with everything else we enjoyed. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would happily return. With a few improvements to the arrival/check-in process and restaurant ventilation, the experience could be truly exceptional.

“S*xually assaulted by staff during our honeymoon, and management didn't care”
Sexually assaulted by staff during our honeymoon, and management didn't care We came to this resort for our honeymoon, expecting the relaxing, romantic start to our marriage that everyone dreams of. Instead, we left with an experience that we are still dealing with, months later. We booked a couples massage at the spa (a Lomi Lomi massage, which involves being almost completely undressed). During the massage, the male masseur, who I was never introduced to and was never asked if I was comfortable being treated by a man, repeatedly brushed against my genitals while working on my inner thigh. I stopped the massage immediately and walked out. It wasn't until I was alone that it fully hit me, and I had a severe panic attack. My wife's massage, with a female masseuse, never involved any contact anywhere near that area. We reported it the very next morning. Management's response was to offer me a free drink and move on. For the rest of the week, we were brushed off repeatedly, with no real update or acknowledgment. On our last day, we tried again to get a straight answer, and management still couldn't tell us that anything had actually been done. We were not asking for anything extreme. We asked for three things: a policy change so guests are asked whether they're comfortable with a male therapist before a massage, the staff member to attend sexual harassment training, and a refund for my half of the massage. That's it. We just wanted to be able to move on and salvage what was left of our honeymoon. Instead, we had to personally track down and email every contact we could find in upper management, and even the ownership group, to get any response at all, and even that only came three weeks after we'd already left. The final answer was a refund and a vague statement that they had "reviewed" their policies, not changed them. To make things worse, we later found out from a staff member we had become friendly with during our stay that the spa staff and management were telling people we made the whole thing up, and threatening legal action against anyone who said otherwise. This should have been one of the most special trips of our lives. Instead, it's a memory we're actively trying to move past, to the point that we've talked about redoing our honeymoon elsewhere just so we have something better to remember. We've traveled and had massages in many different countries, and have never experienced anything like this. Months later, we're still dealing with the emotional aftermath, and the way management handled it, denying, delaying, and ultimately doing nothing meaningful, has made it so much worse. If you're considering this resort, be cautious about the spa, and know that if something goes wrong, don't expect management to take it seriously.

“Best we have ever been in Italy”
Absolutely fantastic. Rooms were great, (we had adjoining rooms) in what can only be described as a stunning traditional sardinina village, and kept clean daily.Air con works wonders! A few steps up and down, so you might need to be fit! Food was superb, (and we are not easly pleased being Italians), full of flavour and a good variety. Coast line amazing, with plenty of beaches were we always found space for a family of four...water unbelivebly clear! Good interrnal service with the shuttle, albiet it does get busy in the evening, but its not a surprise in August! Enough to do for the litlle ones and the bigger ones as Arbatx village and Tortoli are within walking distance and /or 5 minutes by taxis...dont forget to book! Staff was fantastic, from the girls in reception, which were very helpful with transfers, to the bar staff (thank you Giovanni from Sicily) to the staff on the beach (thank you Giuseppe from Naples with your help on the paddle board) to the waiting staff (Rocco was always frindly and works far too hard) to, last but not least, thank you to Gianvito with his brilliant humour and his"ranger skills". In short...what are you waiting for? go and book...we will!!

“All in all I would recommend this place”
Our 7 day stay at Arbatax Borgo was great. The whole resort has a touch of being dated and has probably seen better days in the past. Looking past that the resort has alot of soul and offers much for a family vacation. The resort offer an easy jump on jump off transfer wich makes it easy to enjoy different pools, beeches scenery. For kids the pool outside Tellis was best but we also enjoyed the Borgo pool and the freshness of a swim from the cliffs there. Also the Bounavista park was great and our daughter loved to visit the animals especially the goats. We whent half board and breakfast was very good, extra star to barista Katy making excellent cappuccino! Dinner was mediocre but ok. Also whant to give Giovanni (Ranger, couch, and everything) a star for being very friendly and welcoming. Room was according to description, well kept and A/C with good standard. Easy fixes: shape up the public bathrooms, proper looks on the doors and freshness. Run more transfer buses in the area, you could see people getting upset for waiting to long. All in all I would recommend this place.

“Rip off”
Beautiful location with a nature reserve. Unfortunately, Falkensteiner have turned the Resort into a mass tourism nightmare. The Borgo Cala Moresca Hotel is like a little village which is quite quaint. However, be prepared to do a lot of walking up and down stairs and cobbled streets. Not for the faint-hearted or pushchairs! Ok for a short stay but there are cheaper and far better options in the area than this resort.
