Hilton Sorrento Palace sits just 1.5km from the historic centre of the city. It is home to six outdoor pools, a tennis court and two padel courts, surrounded by citrus tree gardens. Inside there’s a further pool with natural rock features, a waterfall and frescoes. Plus, there’s a fitness centre featuring exercise machines for muscle toning and cardio workouts.
At Sorrento il Ristorante there’s a mouthwatering range of pasta, meat and seafood dishes on offer for both lunch and dinner. Choose from chicken, veal, beef, lobster, octopus, swordfish and more. Vegetarians can tuck into some delicious cheese ravioli. In high season light bites including Neopolitan pizza and ice cream are available from the poolside bar, while year-round you can grab a caesar salad or club sandwich from the lounge bar. Here, you can also relax with classic Italian drinks including limoncello, prosecco, Franciacorta and cappuccinos.

Sorrento is known for its quaint cobbled streets, beaches and marina, as well as a wide selection of bars and restaurants. Day trips are straight forward, thanks to the conveniently placed station. Trains to Pompeii take just 35 minutes, where you can spend a full day exploring the UNESCO World Heritage Site that sits in the shadows of Mount Vesuvius. Alternatively, take a boat to the island of Capri with its famous blue grotto. There’s also a number of scenic hiking trails in the area, providing the opportunity to keep fit while being surrounded by beautiful landscapes.
