Take a trip to the Mandovi River to explore India's picturesque jungle. The river is known as the lifeline of Goa and is a huge 77km in length. It's only a 20 minute drive from Candolim's centre where you'll be able to discover tropical nature and exotic wildlife on various boat tours. There are several certified cruises that you can experience, ranging from dinner cruises, to animal spotting, some even have live music aboard.

Sail through the mangroves of the river's backwaters to find crocodiles lounging along the riverbanks. Venture at night to see the river's beauty during sunset, or choose a tour that stops off in locations where you can explore fruit plantations and spot birds along the way. Each tour allows you to sit back and relax whilst enjoying the view and the soothing sounds of the waves.
