We are a four star Hotel located within the Golden Circle Region in South Iceland. Selfoss is 15 minutes' drive away from the hotel and 21 km away from the boundary of UNESCO-listed Thingvellir National Park. You can admire the sky and surrounding mountains from the room or outdoor hot tubs. The hotel offers free northern lights wake up calls. WiFi and parking are available free of charge.

The hotel consists of 20 buildings with a reception, restaurant, event and meeting facilities and accommodation for 300 guests. All rooms come with balcony or terrace and access to some of the 39 geothermal hot tubs on site, both private and shared. The 4 bedroom apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen, barbecue grill and private hot tub.

Buffet breakfast is served daily and always included in the price. At Grimsborgir's restaurant the menu features international dishes made with fresh local ingredients. In the summertime you can enjoy your meal on the patio.

Laugarvatn is 34 km from Hotel Grimsborgir - Your Golden Circle Retreat, while Reykjavik city centre is 70 km way. Geysir geothermal park and Gullfoss waterfall are about 50 minutes' drive from the property.
