Sandhotel is a community within the centre of Reykjavík where all the convenience of modern technology and design meets Reykjavík's rich heritage. We are happy to announce that Sand Hotel has received the BREEAM environmental certification, being the first hotel in Iceland receiving this certification. BREEAM is one of the most well-known environmental certification systems for buildings and encourages sustainable building design and ecological management during construction and operation.
