For a luxury holiday in the Greek sunshine, book a stay at Kassandra Palace Seaside Resort. This 5 star hotel boasts a beachfront location on a secluded peninsula, 95km south of Thessaloniki. Kassandra Palace’s main restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner, with indoor and outdoor dining areas. Gluten free options are available on request. Lunch is available on the beach courtesy of Ninemia Brunch Restaurant. Alternatively, try one of the chef’s creative dishes from the menu at Magnolia. It’s open from 12:30 to 11:30pm, serving Greek and Mediterranean cuisine. This makes it an ideal spot for lunch or your evening meal, even if you don’t like to eat at conventional times. For something a bit different there’s Fiki Fiki Asian Peruvian Restaurant, open from 4:30pm to 11:30pm.

When you fancy a mid-morning coffee or an aperitif, pay a visit to Palm Lobby Bar. It opens at 9:30am right through until 1:30am. During the day you can cool off by grabbing a refreshing cocktail or ice cream from Ninemia Beach Bar. Drinks and snacks are also available at Oasis Pool Bar, the perfect accessory for your sunlounger or hammock.

The spa is open daily from 9:30am to 10pm. It boasts a sauna, hammam, Jacuzzi® and an indoor pool. The menu includes a variety of massages, facial treatments, waxing, manicure and pedicure services.

Rooms are split between the main building and the bungalows dotted around the resort. They each have either a sea or garden view. Doubles and Deluxes are located on the first, second and third floors, with the latter having a bit of extra space. Family Suites have sofa beds for the kids.

The hotel’s remote location is fantastic for exploring by bike – there’s a hire service at Kassandra Palace. And if you want to explore the wider area, you can book a hire car through us. To be at one with nature make the 6km trip to Mavrobara Turtle Lake, home to three rare breeds. There’s also numerous hilltop churches that you may choose to visit. A 25km drive will take you to Sane (also known as Sani), known for its summer Music & Performing Arts Festival.

To learn about Greek history, drive up to Thessaloniki for the day, where evidence of the Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman eras can still be seen. Even if you’re not interested in religion, don’t miss out on seeing the Church of Agia Sophia (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), as the interior of this 7th century building resembles a mini art gallery. There are also a wide range of museums in the city - too many to visit in one day, so pick the one(s) that interest you the most.
