Just 11km from Rhodes Airport, Atrium Platinum Resort is a luxury family-friendly hotel, nestled in a pristine cove of Ixia Bay. If you have friends or a partner that has different likes and dislikes, then you’ll enjoy a meal at Elia & Tramonto. Here, a wide range of Greek and Mediterranean specialities are expertly prepared by the chef.

After dinner you may wish to head to the Chromata Bar for the night’s entertainment. The programme includes Greek and Latin nights, as well as musical performances covering many genres such as jazz, classical, rock and reggae. It remains open until 2am, so you’ll have plenty of time to slowly sip your beverage.

Being a 5 star hotel, there’s no such thing as Standard Rooms. The Deluxe option gives you a massive 42m2 of space, a balcony, a 32” TV with satellite channels and a Nespresso® machine. They either have a double bed or two singles, plus a sofa that can convert into a bed for a third person. Upgrades on offer include swim-up and private pool. Junior Suites have two sofa beds, accommodating groups of up to four. These also have a Jacuzzi® bathtub and separate shower. The Family Suites have a second bathroom, so you don’t need to worry about having your relaxing bath time disturbed.

A stay at Atrium Platinum Resort means you’re just 6km from the Old Town of Rhodes, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can see the remains of castles, temples and fortifications. You can view colourful restored mosaics at the Palace of The Grand Master of The Knights, including one dated from the 2nd Century BC. The Archaeological Museum displays fascinating collections of artefacts from Rhodes and other Greek islands. It is housed in a historic building that was originally The Hospital of the Knights of Saint John. But if you don’t want a history lesson, there are plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants too.
