Blue Horizon Hotel

Blue Horizon is steps away from the sandy beach of Ialyssos, on Rhodes' West coast. This stretch of coastline extends all the way to Kremasti and has facilities such as bars and cafÈs to ensure a relaxing day. You'll also be close to Rhodes Town, which is less than a 20-minute car ride away. The hotel is centred around a pool area which looks out to the sea in the distance. The sun terrace is lined with lawns and a number of palm trees, allowing for shade against the midday sun should you need it. There's a pool for children here too, as well as various activities on site for all the family to get involved with. Meals can be enjoyed in the hotel's restaurant, which has outdoor seating in the courtyard. There's also a bar and a pool bar where you can get drinks and snacks during the day and enjoy music and entertainment by night. If you want to find some local bars, you can head into Ialyssos centre, which is a short walk from the hotel. The rooms at Blue Horizon come with a balcony or terrace for you to enjoy some of the surrounding scenery.
The hotel is on Ialyssos beach and a 1km walk from the centre of the resort. Here you can find traditional Greek tavernas and souvenir shops. A little further on from the town centre and up into the hills at Filerimos, you'll find the remains of an ancient temple, as well as sweeping views over the island. Rhodes Town is 9km away from Blue Horizon, and is well worth a visit if you like history. The old part of the town is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the oldest inhabited medieval town in Europe, known for its winding alleys and Gothic architecture.
You can enjoy a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner in the restaurant, which has Greek and international cuisine and uses local produce. If you want to try some of the local restaurants, there's a traditional Greek Taverna as well as other restaurants near the hotel.
The hotel has tennis courts, table tennis and can offer windsurfing. There's a playground for children, as well as activities organised by the hotel.
