“I will never return to this Hotel.”
A very Poor Hotel;the food with Little variety,few staff,only one bar for too much people.It was the first time I`ve ever been served chicken wings as a main course at a 5-star Hotel. in the bathroom,the floor is completely level,so whenever you take a schower ,the whole place ends up flooded,there is mold,a lack of proper infrastructure...In the Restaurant,the ice Cream freezer was dirty; when we asked the Manager about it ,the response was "we don`t have time"The air conditioning unit located above the dining area was filthy. FISHER-The Agency,realy ought to pay attention,it was many schortcomings. the Manager could use a course in Hospitality&Etiquette.

“Lovely place with private beach”
Hello holiday seekers! We spent a wonderful week in this hotel with our family and it was amazing! Our room smelled a bit mouldy, I guess it is due to humidity created after showering in tiny shower room, which is very hard to keep dry. But when I mentioned that to my parents who had the room next to us, they did not notice anything like that so maybe it was just my sensitive nose :) Food was lovely, though I would prefer more authentic Greek food (rather than Asian that was offered twice a week :)) Drinks were basic, but ok, and if you like good coffee, definitely pay extra for proper one in beach bar :) Staff was amazing and extremely nice - everyone from receptionist, hotel manager, kitchen staff, bar tenders...simply every and each of them. I am sending them big hug and thank you, for making Golden Coast Beach hotel a pleasent stay for everyone (dont forgett to tip them, they deserve it :) Zakynthos is beautiful! Definitely take a trip to town centre or to one of Islands with breathtaking views and crystal clear water. It was breaking my heart to leave this wonderful place. But Greece has so much to offer, so I believe I will continue to explore it. All the best GCBR

“A Great Week at Golden Coast Hotel”
We’ve just returned from a wonderful week at the Golden Coast Hotel. It’s a very well-managed hotel, with friendly and attentive staff always there when you need them—from the cleaning ladies and bar staff to the kitchen team and the lovely receptionists. The food exceeded our expectations, especially if you enjoy Greek cuisine. Everything was delicious, with an amazing variety of dishes. Even my daughter, who is usually a very picky eater, tried and enjoyed many different dishes! Thank you for a fantastic week—we truly enjoyed our stay! ⭐️

“An amazing week.”
We have just spent a week here (Aug 26). We visited as a family of four, 2 adults and 2 10 year old girls. The location was perfect for us, it is right on the beach with beautiful scenery. However this is a peaceful location so if you want somewhere to walk in the evening then you will need to get a taxi to the local town (tslivi). The taxi cost 20 euros each way. There is a few restaurants and a supermarket around a 15-20 minute walk away but not much else. We prefer it this way. The atmosphere was relaxed, calm and friendly and felt really safe. Everything is in close proximity (pool, beach, bar, restaurant) so it was great when the kids wanted to pop and get a drink. The room was an issue for us. We booked a family room, the one with the mezzanine with a sofa bed. These beds are not sufficient for two ten year olds. It’s very small up there and one of the beds tipped up when putting any weight on it. Luckily I packed an air bed as I had heard similar reviews. This worked out for us as we made the sofa bed back into a sofa and used the airbed instead. However this meant one of my girls sleeping on an airbed for a week which wasn’t the most comfortable. The aircon was great and effective. The rooms were cleaned daily and fresh towels and linen were provided. The house keeping did a great job. The bathroom is small and when 4 people are showing it becomes flooded which was a pain. Other than that the room was good. The pool and sun beds were amazing. The kids were in the pool all day. Theres no rush to get a sunbed. We came down at all times of the day and there were available sunbeds at all times. The restaurant food was really good. Always something tasty, one of the girls tried new foods and now loves orzo and cous cous! Of course there is always bread / fries for picky eaters. The only downside is the lack of laid tables, cutlery and glasses, most time we visited we had the set our own tables and find our own cutlery and cups by going im the drawers ect. The staff work really hard, I think the hotel needs to invest in more cutlery and glasses as they always seemed to run out. The sea is great for snorkelling, take beach shoes if you want to go in the sea as there are many rocks. But it’s beautiful. Entertainment was lovely, in the evening it was nice to sit on the beach listening to live music. The drinks included in all inclusive was enough for us. Wine, beer, cocktails, mocktails for the kids. There is a drinks machine in the bar where you get get all types of pop, water and coffee. There is no ice cream throughout the day, only at meals time. But you can buy it. The snack bar was perfect, gyros, fries, fruit, cake, pancakes, salad, pasta, pancakes, fishfingers. There was always food options available, they even have a cotton candy machine for kids to enjoy! Overall a very positive experience, we would love to come back! Maybe with a bigger room next time. What an amazing beautiful place.
