Overview


Village Heights Resort is a stunning 5-star property designed to resemble an authentic Cretan village, nestled in the hills above Hersonissos. Dining

This resort offers Bed & Breakfast, Half Board, and **All-Inclusive** meal plans.


All-Inclusive:


The **All-Inclusive** package includes breakfast (07:30 – 10:30), lunch (12:30 – 14:30), and dinner (19:00 – 21:30) served buffet-style in the main restaurant. A selection of local alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, and snacks are available at the pool bar throughout the day until late evening. Meal times are indicative and may be subject to change depending on the season.


Pools and Spa


You can choose between two large outdoor swimming pools surrounded by lush gardens, or find some peace in the heated indoor pool. If you are looking for total rejuvenation, the on-site spa centre offers a sauna, steam room, and a range of massage treatments designed to melt away your stress. Please note that the use of the Spa centre, including massages, treatments, and the sauna/steam room, may be subject to additional charges.


Beach


The resort is located on a hillside approx. 4km from the coast. To make your journey to the sea effortless, a complimentary shuttle bus runs regularly to the nearest sandy beach in Hersonissos. Once you arrive at the public beach, sun loungers and umbrellas are available at an extra charge.


Sport and Entertainment


Active travellers will love the on-site facilities, including a well-equipped fitness centre, tennis courts, and a mini-golf course. For a unique local experience, the resort is the only one in the region with such close proximity to the Crete Golf Club, where you can test your skills on the 18-hole course. In the evenings, you can enjoy live music or traditional Cretan dance performances under the stars.

“Lovely property - a bit dated”

Lovely property - challenge to find this place at night especially if you are arriving in a rental car. Google maps is misleading because of a lot of new roads and the property needs to make extra effort to have signs with lights indicating how to get there. The cafeteria policy could be better for both breakfast and dinner and for shows. The meals are overpriced for older people looking to have a simple meal. The pool is nice, the staff is helpful.

“A beautiful and relaxing stay in the heart of Crete”

I spent three wonderful nights last week at Village Heights Resort in Crete, and it was such a beautiful experience. The resort is wonderfully situated in the hills above Hersonissos, surrounded by the beautiful Cretan countryside, with lovely views across the landscape and towards the sea in the distance. It is a very peaceful and relaxing setting. I stayed in a wonderful suite, and everything was so well thought out. The rooms were beautifully designed, extremely clean and comfortable, with great attention to detail. The food was also excellent. The buffet offered a very nice variety and everything we tried was fresh and delicious. I also really enjoyed the spa, which was excellent and made the stay even more relaxing. And on top of all this, we received a beautiful present of wonderful Cretan olive oil, which was such a thoughtful and lovely touch. I truly enjoyed my stay and the warm hospitality. Village Heights Resort is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of Crete, and I would happily return.

“Loved it & want to go back!!”

My family and I visited Village Heights on an all inclusive basis to celebrate my Mums special birthday. With one exception sadly (being our initial arrival overnight) we had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return. We would throughly recommend a stay here. Special appreciation to George, Stroula and the team in the main restaurant for being so kind, welcoming and attentive, to Krystalli at the front desk, Anna in concierge, Kostas and Denis in Elia and the team at Rhodies. Service everywhere was brilliant. Every member of staff we saw greeted us and were so kind and welcoming, including all the housekeeping staff and colleagues driving the golf carts. We felt like we were treated as individuals and looked after so well. My mum had a lovely surprise for her birthday with the staff decorating the room 🎈 The grounds are beautifully designed and maintained, clearly a lot of thought has gone into this, all the way down to the bins and signs. Services including the shuttle bus and golf buggies around the resort are fantastic, alongside the App to book reservations, review menus and so forth. It does make things really easy. We enjoyed all enjoyed the food very much. There is enough space not to feel overcrowded during the school holiday and it was a very relaxing experience surrounded by nature and some gorgeous kittens Bathrooms are great, water lovely and warm and excellent pressure. We all slept so well as it was so dark & the beds were so comfy. I would recommend that the hotel looks at its package deals.. We arrived at about 4/5am and most of us had to stay in the freezing library for several hours until we could go somewhere else - eg breakfast to try and warm up. The male receptionist on duty was sadly not welcoming and didn’t appear sympathetic to our situation, we seemed to have woken him up on our arrival, despite having forewarned the hotel of our flight details. Initial impressions were not good and we had to ask for water and some blankets. After some insistence, we were fortunate that two of us could use a room for a two hours, before being able to check in for one room earlier than normal- at 11. Needless to say we were all shattered and wanted to be able to change clothes etc after being awake for 24+ hours The difference in our welcome by Krystalli later that morning was huge. Seems a bit odd that we booked an all inclusive package yet couldn’t access at least one room properly for another 5/6 hours after arrival (the other two not until 10 hrs later at normal check in time), not sure what control the hotel has with the holiday packages? Anyway, we can’t control the flight / package times and we made it in the end. If you are looking for a chilled out and welcoming stay Village Heights is for you!

“Loved the Spa!”

Had a lovely massage and facial at the hotel spa! Pantelis was very attentive and was great at listening to my preferences. While it is pricey, it is also worth it! Overall, the hotel is great. I would suggest visiting local food establishments in Old Town rather than at the hotel, however, the staff are very kind and still make the experience enjoyable.
