Arch 22 in Banjul

One of the most iconic sights to see when visiting The Gambia's capital is the Arch 22. The historic monument was built to celebrate the military rebellion that happened on the 22nd July 1994. The arch sits proudly across Independence Drive and welcomes pedestrians into Banjul.
