Discover how gin is made as you taste your way through a tour of the Edinburgh Gin Distillery. With three different tours to choose from, including the 45 minute Discovery, the 75 minute Connoisseur and the three hour Gin Making Experience, you’re sure to find something you enjoy at this iconic distillery in the heart of the city.
On the Discover Tour, you and your group of up to eight people will see first hand what it takes to distill Edinburgh’s famous spirit, with a look behind the scenes at the process from start to finish. At the end of the tour, you’ll be given a miniature bottle of Edinburgh Gin to take home.
For a longer and more in depth experience, take the Gin Connoisseur Tour. Find out more about the history of gin making and discover which botanicals are used by the distillery, before enjoying a guided tasting session of original and infused gin. You’ll also get that free miniature bottle of gin.
The three hour Gin Making Experience is a popular choice for small groups of four people or less. You’ll tour the distillery and have a guided tasting session before making your very own custom bottle of gin, complete with a personalised label, to take away with you.
Before leaving the distillery, make sure you visit the gin gift shop where you’ll get a 10% discount on all purchases. If you’re hoping to visit on a weekend, make sure you plan ahead as weekend slots book up months if not years in advance. For groups with children, over 12s are allowed to join the Discover Tour only.
