Las Piramides
3900 reviews
Right in the heart of Playa de las Américas in Tenerife, Las Piramides Resort is perfect for those seeking a party pad close to Veronicas Strip. And despite its lively location, the hotel’s daytime atmosphere is quite the opposite. You’ll be thankful for its chilled poolsides after a big night in town. Surrounded by a row of loungers, spend lazy days by its curvy number or hit its roomy rectangle option for a late-afternoon dip.
Those staying here on an all-inclusive basis, can enjoy three delicious meals a day at the onsite buffet spot. Early-risers can grab breakfast from 8am till 10am, and if you can’t drag yourself out of bed, lunch is served between 1pm and 3pm. On an evening, take your pick from a range of hot dishes including paella alongside pasta and succulent meats. Alternatively, you can curb your cravings at the pool bar. Pick up a selection of tasty snacks from sandwiches to pizzas and ice cream as well as alcoholic and soft drinks. There’s also a lobby and lounge bar whipping up cocktails and coffees.
In terms of facilities, little guests will love meeting fellow mini travellers at the outdoor play area, while teens will make a beeline for the pool table. You may be just steps away from the resort’s pumping nightlife, but if you choose to spend your evenings at the hotel, there’s bingo and karaoke sessions to keep you entertained.
You’ll have plenty of space to yourself too. From studios to apartments, all rooms come complete with a kitchenette, microwave and fridge, seating area with a flat screen TV, balcony and bath or shower. Plus with an onsite supermarket, self catering guests won’t have to wander far to pick up some groceries. Families looking for a little extra space may prefer to stay in one of the two bedroom apartments, which sleep a maximum of six guests. If you can’t live without your devices, Wi-Fi is also available but this will incur an extra cost and can be purchased at reception.
Need a change of scenery for your sunbathing stints? The sandy Playa de Troya Beach is just a five-minute stroll from the hotel. Home to a windsurfing school, there’s plenty of watersports to try out when you’re not laid horizontal. For even more island fun, you’re just a short drive from Siam Park’s famous wet rides, while Mount Teide’s high-altitude adventures can be reached in just 20 minutes by car.

DO NOT TAKE KIDS
DO NOT TAKE KIDS No Air Con Poor food selection Rock hard bed Tiles in the pool falling off Can never get sun beds I would avoid this hotel. There’s no air con which is horrendous, the bed is rock hard and kills your back off after a day or two, the all inclusive food selection is horrendous, there’s about 4/5 things to pick from and that’s including pizza and chips - there’s absolutely nothing for kids/babies. There’s hundreds of tiles missing in the pool and are loose at the bottom (be careful with your feet) and you can never get a sun bed until later in the afternoon when people have left. Very noisy of a night due to the party vibe and the pool is very energetic. Would not go back.
Not for families
Pulled up and thought what I have I booked reception was very quick checking us in pleasantly surprised with our room was very clean and modern had everything in the kitchen needed for self catering ( apart from toaster had to hire €20 ) had a ground floor so large court yard few feet from quiet pool which was very nice in the day but could do with a clean at night. Never went to larger pool as heard not very nice so can’t comment on that. No air con which was a big let down had to hire fan and remote for tv. Lots of teenagers running around but only heard them the 1st night there group of lads arguing in the corridors the boys above us were respectful of us having a child with us so can’t complain really. but hearing from other we were very lucky. Would I return that is a big NO as it’s more for young people looking for a good time. House keeping are very good clean towels daily and room kept clean
DISGUSTING
Just returned back home from 1 week of absolute hell on earth!!!!! Yobs returning from nights out, high on drugs and having sex around the pool at 8am…… Watching a girl give 2 men a handjob is not what I want to see when I come down for breakfast with my family!!!! We stayed All Inclusive the drinks were terrible and the food is absolutely horrendous we all got vomiting and diarrhea bug. Pool area is like a sex show used condoms everywhere and stinks of weed with hardcore porn playing cards scattered everywhere. To top it off one day we even seen a turd floating in the pool. The hotel manager said it was a hotdog but it was definitely a turd. When we were checking out at 2am the guy on reception had fallen asleep watching hardcore porn. I honestly thought Jeremy Beadle was going to appear!
